Terms and Conditions for Payroll x SimplyFund Account Promotion (“the Promotion”)

  1. The Promotion period is from 1 July 2021 to 30 September 2021 ("Promotion Period").
  2. The Promotion is not applicable to existing payroll customers of Hang Seng Bank Limited ("the Bank"). Customers must have no payroll record under any account of the Bank within the 6 months prior to registration (not including the registration month) and fulfil all of the following requirements during the Promotion Period ("Eligible Payroll Customers"):
    1. Successfully register for the Promotion online (hangseng.com/payroll) or at any of our branches; AND
    2. Successfully receive salary with monthly payroll amount of HKD10,000 or above in each consecutive month with a sole-named or joint-named Integrated Account of Signature, Integrated Account of Prestige Banking, Integrated Account of Preferred Banking, Integrated Account of Green Banking or Integrated Account ("Payroll Account(s)") according to the promotion registration month ("Registration Month") and its respective designated payroll period ("Payroll Period") listed below.

      September 2021 October 2021 – December 2021
  3. The payroll amount of each Eligible Payroll Customer must be salary directly credited to his / her Payroll Account from the employer's company account via Autopay. Any payroll amount not credited from the employer’s company account is not considered as eligible payroll record. The payroll amount and the number of payroll transactions are subject to the Bank's records. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Bank shall be final.
  4. Only the first registration will be considered if the Eligible Payroll Customer has more than one registration. In case the customer’s registered identity document number and account number do not match with the Bank's records, the customer will not be eligible for any of the rewards under the Promotion. If the registered account is a joint-named account, the rewards will only be applicable to the principal account holder. All registration records cannot be changed and the Bank’s record shall prevail.
  5. If an Eligible Payroll Customer meets the SimplyFund Account opening requirements and has newly opened a SimplyFund Account through Hang Seng Personal Banking mobile app during the Promotion Period, but excluding existing customers who are holding a SimplyFund Account (previously named as "iPower Account"), he/she will be entitled to enter the lucky draw of the Promotion for a chance to win one of the prizes (“the Lucky Draw Prizes”) on the table below:

  6. Each Eligible Payroll Customer is entitled to one lucky draw entry only.
  7. Each winner can enjoy one Lucky Draw Prize only. If the prize winner has already won any SimplyFund-related lucky draw prizes from the Bank, he/she will not be entitled to the Lucky Draw Prizes of the Promotion.
  8. The Bank will determine the eligibility of the Lucky Draw Prizes based on the account opening record held by the Bank. In case of any disputes, The Bank’s record shall be final and conclusive.
  9. The redemption letters notifying the winners of the redemption details will be mailed on or before 28 February 2022 by the Bank to the Hong Kong addresses of the winners according to the Bank’s record. The relevant Payroll and SimplyFund Account of the winners must remain valid until the mailing date of the redemption letter.
  10. For more details of the Promotion, please contact the Bank’s staff. The Promotion is offered by the Bank. The Bank reserves the right to suspend, vary or terminate the Promotion and to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The Bank also reserves the right of final decision on all matters relating to the Promotion, which shall be binding on all parties concerned.
  11. In case of any reason the Bank is unable to provide the Lucky Draw Prizes, the Bank reserves the right to substitute the Lucky Draw Prizes with other gifts at any time without prior notice. The value or nature of the substitute gifts may differ from the Lucky Draw Prizes mentioned above.
  12. The Bank is not the supplier of the Lucky Draw Prizes, and shall not be responsible for any legal liabilities related to the Lucky Draw Prizes. Any disputes relating to the Lucky Draw Prizes shall be settled between the Eligible Payroll Customers and the supplier directly.
  13. Unless otherwise specified, the Promotion is not applicable to Business and Private Banking customers of the Bank.
  14. Unless otherwise specified, the Promotion is applicable to Eligible Payroll Customer who has payroll transactions in Hong Kong Dollars only.
  15. No person other than the customer and the Bank (which includes its successors and assigns) will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provision of these Terms and Conditions.
  16. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
  17. These Terms and Conditions are subject to prevailing regulatory requirements.
  18. In case of any discrepancy between the English and the Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.

Only specific funds are available for subscription with this account.
