Terms and Conditions for University Affinity Credit Card “3x Cash Dollars Self-enhancement Reward” (the "Reward"):
•
The promotion period is from 11 July 2012 to 30 June 2013 ("Promotion Period").
•
The Reward is only applicable to City University of Hong Kong Credit Card, Hong Kong Baptist University Credit Card, The Chinese University of Hong Kong Credit Card and School of Continuing and Professional Studies CUHK Credit Card (“University Affinity Credit Cards”).
•
Customers can register by calling the registration hotline 2998 6000 during the promotion period. Upon successful registration, customers can earn 3 times Hang Seng Credit Card Cash Dollars (including the basic Cash Dollars earned) on all eligible transactions from the registration month to 30 June 2013 by spending with University Affinity Credit Cards. If the customer has registered the Reward on or before 30 June 2012, he/she is required to register again to enjoy the Reward.

Eligible transactions include: (i) purchase at local or online bookstores; (ii) payment on courses held by local and overseas universities/ institutions (according to the reimbursable course list of The Continuing Education Fund); or / and (iii) payment on local and overseas public examination fees during the Promotion Period which are successfully posted to the credit card account on or before 16 July 2013. Eligible transactions do not include merchant instalment, autopay, phone and fax orders (bill payments and purchases), handling fees for cash advance, finance charges, late charges, transactions with the merchant codes which are not defined as bookstore / education / examination by Hang Seng Bank Limited (Hang Seng) / Visa International / MasterCard Asia/Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited from time to time, transactions with the merchant codes which are not defined as correct codes of related business by the merchants’ acquiring banks and any unauthorized transactions. All transactions that are found to be fraudulent or eventually cancelled/returned are not eligible transactions. The eligible merchants for the Reward shall be determined at the sole and absolute discretion of Hang Seng and may be varied from time to time without further notice.

Each credit card account is entitled to a maximum total of $500 extra Cash Dollars during the Promotion Period. Spending amount is calculated based on single credit card account, including spending of supplementary cards for which transactions are posted to the same principal card account.

For eligible transactions made by University Affinity Credit Cards, customers are entitled to the prevailing reward of 1 time Cash Dollar and extra 2 times Cash Dollars. The Reward is calculated by each transaction and the Cash Dollars will be rounded down to the nearest dollar. Less than $1 Cash Dollar will be forfeited.
•
Extra 2 times Cash Dollars will be calculated on the last date of August, October, December in 2012 and February, April, June in 2013 respectively. Extra Cash Dollars will then be automatically credited to your account within 2 months after each calculation provided that the credit card account is still valid and in good standing when the extra Cash Dollars are credited. All eligible customers will be notified of the Reward details by mail.

Hang Seng will verify the eligibility of all Reward and check if the customers’ relevant transactions match with Hang Seng’s transaction records. In case of discrepancy, Hang Seng’s records shall be final and conclusive.

Customers who have registered the "University Affinity Credit Card 3x Cash Dollars Self-enhancement Reward" cannot double enjoy the rewards for HKD transactions in education online category in Hang Seng Credit Card 3x Cash Dollars promotion.

General Terms and Conditions:

Use of Cash Dollars is subject to the terms and conditions of Hang Seng Credit Card Membership Rewards Programme. For details, please call our 24-hour Hang Seng Credit Card Marketing Enquiry Hotline 2998 6899.

Hang Seng reserves the right to vary or terminate the above Reward at any time and to amend the terms and conditions of the Reward from time to time.
•
In case of any dispute, the decision of Hang Seng shall be final.
•
The English version of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail whenever there is any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions.
