“New credit card customers” refer to Principal Card applicants who are not holding currently and / or have not held in the preceding 12 months the Principal Card of any personal credit card / affinity card / co-branded card (excluding spending card and private label card) issued by Hang Seng Bank Limited (“Hang Seng”) (“New Credit Card Customers”). “Existing credit card customers” refer to Principal Card applicants who are holding currently and / or held in the preceding 12 months the Principal Card of any personal credit card / affinity card / co-branded card (excluding spending card and private label card) issued by Hang Seng (“Existing Credit Card Customers”).

To be entitled to the extra reward of $300 Priceline Hong Kong Cash Travel Voucher / Cash Dollars, Hang Seng Prestige Banking customers are required to successfully apply for Hang Seng Prestige Banking Credit Card during the Promotion Period and fulfill the spending requirements as stated in clause 4 or 5 of these Terms and Conditions. The extra reward of $300 Priceline Hong Kong Cash Travel Voucher / Cash Dollars is not applicable to Existing Credit Card Customers who are holding currently and / or have held in the preceding 12 months the Principal Card of the same credit card type.

Unless otherwise specified, the extra reward for Prestige Banking customers cannot be enjoyed in conjunction with other extra rewards for credit card application (including but not limited to the extra reward for online application).

If customers select Priceline Hong Kong Cash Travel Voucher as welcome offer in the credit card application form, the extra reward for online application (if applicable) / the extra reward for Prestige Banking customers (if applicable) will be $300 Priceline Hong Kong Cash Travel Voucher (i.e. up to $800 Priceline Hong Kong Cash Travel Voucher in total). If customers select Cash Dollars as welcome offer in the credit card application form, the extra reward for online application (if applicable) / the extra reward for Prestige Banking customers (if applicable) will be $300 Cash Dollars (i.e. up to $800 Cash Dollars in total).

The accumulated transaction amount is based on the net spending amount(s), which, in each case, means the final amount charged to the Designated Credit Cards concerned. The use of discount offers and / or Cash Dollars / Merchant Dollars, any purchase by Interest-free Instalment Plan at any merchant, cash advance, handling fee for cash advance, annual fee/service fee, finance charges, late charges, tax bill payment, Credit Card online bill payments (including but not limited to water bills, electricity bills, insurance premiums, payments to other banks and credit cards, etc.), Cash Instalment Plan, Spending Instalment Plan, Tax Instalment Plan, Balance Transfer Plan, Octopus Automatic Add Value Service transactions, balance transfers , purchases of casino chips, and transactions which are unposted / unauthorized / cancelled / refunded / found to be fraudulent, will not be taken into account. Hang Seng will determine the eligibility of all welcome offers based on transaction records held by Hang Seng. In case of discrepancy, Hang Seng’s records shall be final and conclusive.

Customers are required to put down their English full name and their identity card / passport number on each page of the valid documents required and submit them via the following designated means: (i) by fax to 3409 1599; or (ii) by mail to P.O. Box 74147, Kowloon, Central Post Office, Kowloon.

If the credit card Principal Card and its Supplementary Card(s) share the same credit limit, the accumulated transaction amount will be calculated on a combined basis.

Each customer is entitled to the welcome offers of $500 / $150 Priceline Hong Kong Cash Travel Voucher / Cash Dollars and $300 Priceline Hong Kong Cash Travel Voucher / Cash Dollars (if applicable) once only during the Promotion Period.

15.

A redemption letter of Priceline Hong Kong Cash Travel Voucher will be mailed to the Principal Card customer within 2 months upon fulfillment of the spending requirement(s) or after the spending period of the Welcome Offer.

16.

Redemption of Priceline Hong Kong Cash Travel Voucher is only applicable to purchase of air ticket(s), hotel room night(s) or travel package(s) via Priceline.com.hk or by phone; the validity of the Cash Travel Voucher is up to 6 months from the issue date of redemption letter. Customers are required to settle the remaining balance by using his/her Hang Seng Credit Card if the final transaction amount exceeds the voucher value. In case of loss of the Priceline Hong Kong Cash Travel Vouchers, or could not be used before the expiry date, no replacement will be offered. Use of Priceline Hong Kong Cash Travel Vouchers is subject to the relevant terms and conditions, please refer to the redemption letter of the Cash Travel Voucher for details.

Cash Dollars will be credited to the relevant credit card account of the Principal Card customer within 2 months upon fulfillment of the spending requirement(s) or after the spending period of the Welcome Offer, and a notification letter will be mailed to the Principal Card customer. Use of Cash Dollars is subject to the terms and conditions of Hang Seng Credit Card Membership Rewards Programme. 18.

The relevant credit card account must be still valid and in good standing when the welcome offer is granted.

19.

If a customer who has received the welcome offer cancels the relevant credit card account within 13 months from the date of account opening, a handling fee of an equivalent amount of the welcome offer will be charged.

20.

Customers are required to keep original sales slips of all posted transaction(s). Hang Seng reserves the right to request customers to provide the relevant original sales slips for verification. All sales slips submitted to Hang Seng will not be returned.

21.

Interest-free Cash Instalment Plan with Handling Fee Waiver ( “Cash Instalment Plan” ) is only applicable to those customers who are not holding currently and / or have not held in the 12 months preceding the opening of his/her new Hang Seng Visa Card / Hang Seng MasterCard / Hang Seng MPOWER Card / Hang Seng CUP Credit Card account, the Principal Card of any personal credit card / affinity card / co-branded card (excluding spending card and private label card) issued by Hang Seng. The account opening date of the new Hang Seng Visa Card / Hang Seng MasterCard / Hang Seng MPOWER Card / Hang Seng CUP Credit Card account is based on the issue date of the Card Collection Advice.

22.

The Cash Instalment Plan is only applicable to Hang Seng Visa Card, Hang Seng MasterCard, Hang Seng MPOWER Card and Hang Seng CUP Credit Card Principal customers ( “Customer” ), but not applicable to Hang Seng Renminbi Credit Card, students and Supplementary Cards.

23.

Hang Seng will offer a Cash Instalment Plan amount of either up to HKD60,000 or 60% of the credit limit of the approved Hang Seng Visa Card / Hang Seng MasterCard / Hang Seng MPOWER Card / Hang Seng CUP Credit Card account ( “Credit Card Account” ), whichever is lower and subject to a minimum of HKD3,000, to the Customers who have selected the Cash Instalment Plan on the credit card application form upon application for the Hang Seng Visa Card / Hang Seng MasterCard / Hang Seng MPOWER Card / Hang Seng CUP Credit Card.

24.

The Customer will receive a designated hotline number when collecting the new card. The Customer is required to call the designated hotline to confirm and agree to drawdown the Cash Instalment Plan amount within 8 weeks of the issue date of the Card Collection Advice. If the Customer makes any new card transaction upon card collection, Hang Seng will also arrange the drawdown.

25.

After receiving the instruction from the Customer who has confirmed and agreed to drawdown the Cash Instalment Plan amount, Hang Seng will (a) hold the credit limit of the Customer’s Credit Card Account with an amount equivalent to the Cash Instalment Plan amount until the last instalment amount is settled; (b) debit the Cash Instalment Plan amount from the Credit Card Account by 6 consecutive monthly instalments. The first instalment amount will be debited from the Credit Card Account within 7 working days after Hang Seng receives the drawdown instruction of the Cash Instalment Plan amount from Customer or on the date that Hang Seng may prescribe at its discretion; (c) proportionally reduce the hold amount from the credit limit of the Credit Card Account every month after Hang Seng successfully receives the repayment from the Customer; and (d) credit within 10 working days the Cash Instalment Plan amount in a lump sum to the designated Hong Kong Dollar current or savings account which is in the Customer’s sole name and specified by the Customer. The fund-receiving bank may charge a handling fee from the above designated account (except for accounts with Hang Seng).

26.

No finance charge is payable by the Customer who makes full repayment of the statement balance specified in the Customer’s Credit Card Account statement on or before the payment due date of each month. If the Customer fails to make full repayment of the statement balance specified in the Customer’s Credit Card Account statement on or before the payment due date of each month, the Customer shall pay a finance charge on all outstanding balances on the Credit Card Account pursuant to the relevant Hang Seng Credit Card Cardmember Agreement (“Cardmember Agreement”) governing the use of the Credit Card Account. The Customer shall pay a finance charge and other charges on any monthly instalment amount due but unpaid; such finance charge will be levied from the post date of such monthly instalment amount due but unpaid, and will be calculated at the prevailing interest rate applicable to the Credit Card Account.

27.

On default of payment of any moneys due under the Credit Card Account or in case of breach of any provisions of the Cardmember Agreement or any of these Terms and Conditions by the Customer or in case of cancellation or termination of the Customer’s Credit Card Account or the Cash Instalment Plan for whatever reason, all outstanding instalments or balance of moneys owing under these Terms and Conditions shall immediately become due and payable by the Customer and shall, at the absolute discretion of Hang Seng, be debited against the Credit Card Account whereupon the Cardmember Agreement shall apply to all the said instalments or balances.

28.

Hang Seng will not offer the Cash Instalment Plan amount to the Customer and no further notice will be given if the Customer fails to satisfy the requirements stated in (20) and (21) above in these Terms and Conditions, or does not confirm to drawdown the Cash Instalment Plan amount within 8 weeks of the issue date of the Card Collection Advice.

29.

In case the Customer requests (a) to cancel or amend the Cash Instalment Plan; or (b) to make prepayment of the outstanding balance of the Cash Instalment Plan, Hang Seng will charge a handling fee of HKD300 each time and will debit it from the Credit Card Account.

30.

Hang Seng reserves the right to accept or decline the offer of Cash Instalment Plan hereof and / or offer any Cash Instalment Plan amount at its sole discretion without giving any reason and prior notice therefor.

Cash Instalment Plan is not applicable to earn Hang Seng Credit Card Cash Dollars.
