Terms and Conditions of the Extra $50 Cash Dollars Reward for Online Application:
1.
To be entitled to the Extra $50 Cash Dollars Reward, Principal Card customer is required to submit the application of Hang Seng Credit Card (including Visa Platinum Card / Platinum MasterCard / Visa Gold Card / Gold MasterCard / Visa Card / MasterCard / MPOWER Card) (not applicable to Student Card) via online and be successfully approved from 2 April to 31 August 2013.
2.
This offer is only applicable to customers without holding any Hang Seng Credit Card Principal Card currently and / or in the past 12 months.
3.
Customers are entitled to $50 Cash Dollars upon making retail transaction once (no requirement on spending amount) within 60 days from the issue date of the Card Collection Advice.
4.
The $50 Cash Dollars will be credited to Principal Card customer’s Credit Card Account within 2 months upon the spending requirement is fulfilled and a notification letter will be mailed to the Principal Card customer.
5.
To be entitled to the Cash Dollars, the relevant Credit Card Account must be still valid and in good standing when the Cash Dollars are credited.
6.
If the customer has received $50 Cash Dollars but subsequently cancels the Credit Card Account within 13 months from the date of account opening, a handling fee of HKD50 will be charged.

Terms and Conditions of the Extra $100 Cash Dollars Reward for Online Application:
1.
The Extra $100 Cash Dollars Reward is only applicable to Principal Card customer who applies for a Hang Seng Credit Card (including Visa Platinum Card / Platinum MasterCard / Visa Gold Card / Gold MasterCard / Visa Card / MasterCard / MPOWER Card) (not applicable to Student Card) together with a Hang Seng CUP Credit Card at the same time via online and the applications for both cards are successfully approved from 2 April to 31 August 2013.
2.
This offer is only applicable to customers without holding any Hang Seng Credit Card and Hang Seng CUP Credit Card Principal Card currently and / or in the past 12 months.
3.
Customers are entitled to $100 Cash Dollars upon making retail transaction once (no requirement on spending amount) with both successfully applied Hang Seng Credit Card and Hang Seng CUP Credit Card within 60 days from the issue date of the Card Collection Advices respectively.
4.
$50 Cash Dollars will be credited to Principal Card customer’s Hang Seng Credit Card Account and $50 Cash Dollars will be credited to Principal Card customer’s Hang Seng CUP Credit Card Account within 2 months upon the spending requirement is fulfilled and a notification letter will be mailed to the Principal Card customer.
5.
To be entitled to the Cash Dollars, the relevant Credit Card Accounts must be still valid and in good standing when the Cash Dollars are credited.
6.
If the customer has received $100 Cash Dollars but subsequently cancels the relevant Credit Card Accounts within 13 months from the date of account opening, a handling fee of HKD100 will be charged.

Terms and Conditions for the Welcome Offers:
Eligibility for the Welcome Offers
1.
The welcome offers are valid from 2 April to 31 August 2013 (“Promotion Period”).
2.
The welcome offers are only applicable to Principal Card applicants who apply for the following credit cards (“Designated Credit Cards”) and whose applications are successfully approved during the Promotion Period:
 
(i)
Type 1 Credit Cards: Hang Seng CUP Credit Card (including CUP Platinum Card / CUP Credit Card) or Hang Seng Renminbi Credit Card (including Renminbi Platinum Card / Renminbi Gold Card / Renminbi Credit Card); and/or
(ii)
Type 2 Credit Cards: Hang Seng Visa Card (including Visa Platinum Card / Visa Gold Card / Visa Card), Hang Seng MasterCard (including Platinum MasterCard / Gold MasterCard / MasterCard), or Hang Seng MPOWER Card.
3.
“New credit card customers” refers to Principal Card applicants who are not holding currently and/or have not held in the preceding 12 months the Principal Card of any credit card / affinity card / co-branded card / spending card issued by Hang Seng Bank Limited (“Hang Seng”) (“New Credit Card Customers”). “Existing credit card customers” refers to Principal Card applicants who are holding currently and/or held in the preceding 12 months the Principal Card of any credit card / affinity card / co-branded card / spending card issued by Hang Seng (“Existing Credit Card Customers”).

Up to $1,600 Cash Dollars Reward:

To be entitled to a total of $1,600 Cash Dollars Reward ($800 Cash Dollars for each credit card) / $800 Cash Dollars Reward, New Credit Card Customers are required to submit the valid documents required, including a copy of the relevant Hong Kong Identity Card / Passport and income proof of the latest month / latest tax demand note (please refer to the back page of the Credit Card Application Form for details) via the designated means as stated in clause 7 of these Terms and Conditions within 7 days upon submission of the application form. If the required valid documents cannot be submitted within 7 days upon submission of the application form, only a total of $1,000 Cash Dollars Reward ($500 for each credit card) / $500 Cash Dollars Reward will be offered to New Credit Card Customers.

6.
The Total $450 Cash Dollars Reward is not applicable to Existing Credit Card Customers holding any Principal Card of the Designated Credit Cards. The $300 Cash Dollars Reward / $150 Cash Dollars Reward is not applicable to Existing Credit Card Customers holding any Principal Card of the same credit card type.
7.
Customers are required to put down their English full name and their identity card number on each page of the valid documents required and submit them via the following designated means:
 
(i) by mail to P.O. Box 74147, Kowloon, Central Post Office, Kowloon; or
(ii)
by fax to 3409 1599.
 
The 7-day deadline will be counted from the date on which the application form is received by Hang Seng and is subject to Hang Seng's records as conclusive evidence.
8.
The accumulated transaction amount at Cash Dollars Designated Merchants in Hong Kong (except Sogo, Festival Walk and Kowloon City Plaza) / in mainland China is based on the net spending amount(s), which, in each case, means the final amount charged to the Designated Credit Cards concerned. The use of discount offers and/or Cash Dollars / Merchant Dollars, any purchase by Interest-free Instalment Plan at any merchant, phone and fax orders (bill payments and purchases), cash advance, handling fee for cash advance, finance charges, late charges and transactions which are unposted / unauthorized / cancelled / refunded / found to be fraudulent, will not be taken into account.
9.
For the list of Cash Dollars Designated Merchants, please refer to hangseng.com/cashmerc (subject to the latest information on the last day of the month in which a customer fulfills the accumulated transaction amount requirement; and in the case of Hang Seng CUP Credit Card or Hang Seng Renminbi Credit Card transactions, only applicable to merchants accepting CUP Credit Card). In case of any disputes, the records of Hang Seng shall be final.
10.
Hang Seng has the sole and absolute discretion in determining the eligibility of customer's transaction(s) for the Cash Dollars Reward.
11.
If the credit card Principal Card and its Supplementary Card(s) share the same credit limit, the accumulated transaction amount will be calculated on a combined basis.
12.
Each customer is entitled to this Cash Dollars Reward once only during the Promotion Period.
13.
The above amount of Cash Dollars will be credited to the relevant credit card account of the Principal Card customer within 2 months upon fulfillment of the spending requirement(s) and a notification letter will be mailed to the Principal Card customer.
14.
To be entitled to the Cash Dollars, the relevant credit card account must be still valid and in good standing when the Cash Dollars are credited.
15.
If a customer who has received the above amount of Cash Dollars cancels the relevant credit card account within 13 months from the date of account opening, a handling fee of an equivalent amount will be charged.
16.
Customers are required to keep original sales slips of all posted transaction(s). Hang Seng reserves the right to request customers to provide the relevant original sales slips for verification. All sales slips submitted to Hang Seng will not be returned.

Interest-free Cash Instalment Plan with Handling Fee Waiver:
17.
Interest-free Cash Instalment Plan with Handling Fee Waiver ( “Cash Instalment Plan” ) is only applicable to those customers who are not holding currently and/or have not held in the 12 months preceding the opening of his/her new Hang Seng CUP Credit Card / Hang Seng Visa Card / Hang Seng MasterCard / Hang Seng MPOWER Card account the Principal Card of any Hang Seng Credit Card. The account opening date of the new Hang Seng CUP Credit Card / Hang Seng Visa Card / Hang Seng MasterCard / Hang Seng MPOWER Card account is based on the issue date of the Card Collection Advice.
18.
The Cash Instalment Plan is only applicable to Hang Seng CUP Credit Card, Hang Seng Visa Card, Hang Seng MasterCard and Hang Seng MPOWER Card Principal customers ( “Customer” ), but not applicable to Hang Seng Renminbi Credit Card, students and Supplementary Cards.
19.
Hang Seng will offer a Cash Instalment Plan amount of either up to HKD60,000 or 60% of the credit limit of the approved Hang Seng CUP Credit Card / Hang Seng Visa Card / Hang Seng MasterCard / Hang Seng MPOWER Card account ( “Credit Card Account” ), whichever is lower and subject to a minimum of HKD3,000, to the Customers who have selected the Cash Instalment Plan on the credit card application form upon application for the Hang Seng CUP Credit Card / Hang Seng Visa Card / Hang Seng MasterCard / Hang Seng MPOWER Card.
20.
The Customer will receive a designated hotline number when collecting the new card. The Customer is required to call the designated hotline to confirm and agree to drawdown the Cash Instalment Plan amount within 8 weeks of the issue date of the Card Collection Advice. If the Customer makes any new card transaction upon card collection, Hang Seng will also arrange the drawdown.
21.
After receiving the instruction from the Customer who has confirmed and agreed to drawdown the Cash Instalment Plan amount, Hang Seng will (a) hold the credit limit of the Customer’s Credit Card Account with an amount equivalent to the Cash Instalment Plan amount until the last instalment amount is settled; (b) debit the Cash Instalment Plan amount from the Credit Card Account by 6 consecutive monthly instalments. The first instalment amount will be debited from the Credit Card Account within 7 working days after Hang Seng receives the drawdown instruction of the Cash Instalment Plan amount from Customer or on the date that Hang Seng may prescribe at its discretion; (c) proportionally reduce the hold amount from the credit limit of the Credit Card Account every month after Hang Seng successfully receives the repayment from the Customer; and (d) credit within 10 working days the Cash Instalment Plan amount in a lump sum to the designated Hong Kong Dollar current or savings account which is in the Customer’s sole name and specified by the Customer. The fund-receiving bank may charge a handling fee from the above designated account (except for accounts with Hang Seng).
22.
No finance charge is payable by the Customer who makes full repayment of the statement balance specified in the Customer’s Credit Card Account statement on or before the payment due date of each month. If the Customer fails to make full repayment of the statement balance specified in the Customer’s Credit Card Account statement on or before the payment due date of each month, the Customer shall pay a finance charge on all outstanding balances on the Credit Card Account pursuant to the relevant Hang Seng Credit Card Cardmember Agreement (“Cardmember Agreement”) governing the use of the Credit Card Account. The Customer shall pay a finance charge and other charges on any monthly instalment amount due but unpaid; such finance charge will be levied from the post date of such monthly instalment amount due but unpaid, and will be calculated at the prevailing interest rate applicable to the Credit Card Account.
23.
On default of payment of any moneys due under the Credit Card Account or in case of breach of any provisions of the Cardmember Agreement or any of these Terms and Conditions by the Customer or in case of cancellation or termination of the Customer’s Credit Card Account or the Cash Instalment Plan for whatever reason, all outstanding instalments or balance of moneys owing under these Terms and Conditions shall immediately become due and payable by the Customer and shall, at the absolute discretion of Hang Seng, be debited against the Credit Card Account whereupon the Cardmember Agreement shall apply to all the said instalments or balances.
24.
Hang Seng will not offer the Cash Instalment Plan amount to the Customer and no further notice will be given if the Customer fails to satisfy the requirements stated in (17) and (18) above in these Terms and Conditions, or does not confirm to drawdown the Cash Instalment Plan amount within 8 weeks of the issue date of the Card Collection Advice.
25.
In case the Customer requests (a) to cancel or amend the Cash Instalment Plan; or (b) to make prepayment of the outstanding balance of the Cash Instalment Plan, Hang Seng will charge a handling fee of HKD300 each time and will debit it from the Credit Card Account.
26.
Hang Seng reserves the right to accept or decline the offer of Cash Instalment Plan hereof and/or offer any Cash Instalment Plan amount at its sole discretion without giving any reason and prior notice therefor.
27.
Cash Instalment Plan is not applicable to earn Hang Seng Credit Card Cash Dollars.

General Terms and Conditions:
1.
If there is no selection of the welcome offers in the application form, customers will be considered as having given up the right for the relevant welcome offers. Once the welcome offers are chosen, no change will be accepted.
2.
The welcome offers are not transferrable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other products.
3.
The welcome offers are not applicable to full-time students and Hang Seng Staff.
4.
Use of Cash Dollars is subject to the terms and conditions of Hang Seng Credit Card Membership Rewards Programme. For details, please call our 24-hour Hang Seng Credit Card Marketing Enquiry Hotline 2998 6899.
5.
Hang Seng reserves the right to vary or terminate the offers and to amend the Terms and Conditions of the offers from time to time. In case of any disputes, the decision of Hang Seng shall be final.
6.
The English version of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail whenever there is a discrepancy between the English and the Chinese versions.
