e-Donation


The Service

As a good corporate citizen. Hang Seng is strongly committed to serving the local community. The e-Donation Service is one of the Bank's many philanthropic and sponsorship initiatives.
Launched in December 2001, the e-Donation Service allows Hang Seng e-Banking customers to make online charitable donations to about 60 charitable organisations. Customers have donated over HK$16 million since its launch.

How to Access the Service

The Service can be accessed by clicking the 'e-Donation' button on the
e-Banking homepage upon logging in. It can also be found under 'View and Pay Bill' in the 'Banking' section.
Donations can be made by completing the following steps:
- Add the selected charity to your personalised payee list by clicking the 'Pay Bill and Add Payee' icon (only required if the charity is not on your list)
- Choose a charitable organisation from your personalised payee list and then click on the 'Pay' icon
- Enter the donation amount, select the account to be deducted on the 'Pay Paper Bill - Make Payment' screen and click the 'OK' icon
- Check all the information on the confirmation page before clicking the 'Confirm' icon
- A 'Transaction Completed' page will acknowledge the donation and summarise all relevant details
For donations of HKD100 or above, you can print out the 'Transaction Completed' page and send it to the charitable organisation concerned to request a tax exemption receipt
