SME Funding Schemes
The government has set up three funding schemes to help SMEs with acquiring business installations and equipment and working capital loan guarantee, market expansion and enhancing competitiveness. These are:
1.	SME Loan Guarantee Scheme (i) acquiring business installations and equipment; and (ii) meeting working capital needs of general business uses
2.	SME Export Marketing Fund
3.	SME Development Fund

SME Mentorship Programme

The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department is the Government information and advisory centre for small and medium enterprises including business start-ups. It provides free business information and practical consultation services. You may seek professional and expert advice by joining their SME Mentorship Programme.
	The Programme aims to provide an opportunity for SME entrepreneurs who are at an early stage of business to learn from and be guided by accomplished entrepreneurs, senior executives, and professionals through one-to-one free counselling for a specified period.
	The Programme is jointly organised by the Trade and Industry Department and major trade and industrial organisations.
	Activities such as seminars, workshops and experience sharing sessions are also organised during the mentorship period for the mentees and mentors by SUCCESS.

Awards Scheme

Hong Kong Awards for Industries

The Hong Kong Awards for Industries was officially launched in 2005 to recognise the outstanding achievements of Hong Kong enterprises in their move towards higher technology and higher value-added activities. Awards Scheme is granted annually in seven categories

- Consumer Product Design - Machinery and Machine Tools Design - Customer Service - Environmental Performance - Innovation and Creativity - Productivity and Quality - Technological Achievement
