The T/T exchange rate premium offers are applicable to various account types, but each person can only convert a maximum of RMB20,000 per day through a personal RMB account.

The exchange rate premiums are based on the differences between the preferential RMB exchange rates to which various account types customers listed above are entitled to when exchanging RMB and the board rates.

Assume a Prestige Banking customer converts HKD into RMB 20,000 daily with an exchange rate premium of 30 basis points:

Remarks:

As RMB account is a sub-account of an Integrated Account, customers must hold an HKID Card and have already opened an Integrated Account in Hang Seng Bank Limited (the "Bank") when activating the personal RMB Account.
The above offers are only applicable to personal customers and not applicable to company customers.
Please refer to the applicable exchange rate shown on the receipt / confirmation page of the relevant transaction for the actual exchange rates that will be offered to the customer at the time of transaction.
Exchange rates are subject to review according to changes in market conditions from time to time. The Bank reserves the right to change the above exchange rate offers at any time without prior notice.
The above offers cannot be used in conjunction with other exchange rate offers for the same currency.
Fluctuations in the exchange rate of Renminbi/a foreign currency may result in gains or losses in the event that the customer subsequently converts his or her Renminbi deposit into HKD/other foreign currencies. Personal customers are all subject to restrictions, such as the conversion of RMB is subject to a daily limit, for their RMB exchanges carried out through banks in Hong Kong. As such, Renminbi is currently not freely convertible.
The Bank reserves the right to suspend, revise or terminate the above offers and to amend the terms and conditions thereof at any time without prior notice. In case of any disputes, the decision of the Bank shall be final.
In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of the terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
