Hang Seng Easy Pay

Available through the Hang Seng Personal Banking mobile app, Hang Seng Easy Pay is a P2P payment service^, allowing you to make instant, simple and free payment.

^ First time registration of Hang Seng Easy Pay requires the verification code sent via SMS or Mobile Security Key or physical Security Device. Customer should have a valid mobile phone number and email address in the Bank's records.

* Easy Pay service had been updated on 14 Apr 2019, all payee (including Hang Seng Personal e-Banking / HSBC Personal Internet Banking customers) must register FPS in order to receive money with mobile number via online transfer.

How to register Hang Seng Easy Pay?

Step 1

- Open Hang Seng Personal Banking mobile app and log on to Hang Seng Personal e-Banking.
- Select "Easy Pay" > "Register Now".

Step 2

Select account (HKD/CNY) for making payment; set small-value payment limit and accept Terms and Conditions.

Step 3a

- Input your personal identification credentials.
- Input the verification code sent to you via SMS to continue registration.

Step 3b

Or enter Mobile Security Key Password to continue registration.

Step 3c

Or enter Security Code to continue registration.

Step 4

Press "Confirm" after verified the information.

Step 5

Registration completed! You can make payment now.

About Hang Seng Easy Pay

What is Easy Pay?

Easy Pay is a fund transfer service which allows customer to make small-value payments to payees with Hang Seng or other local banks accounts using mobile phone number/email address / FPS ID.

Who is eligible for using Easy Pay?

Anyone who has registered Hang Seng Personal e-Banking and holds a valid HKD/CNY savings or current account is eligible to use Easy Pay.

Registration

Do I have to register in order to use Easy Pay?

Registration is required if you wish to send money or send / receive payment by QR code via Easy Pay. For receiving money from others by QR code, you also need to register FPS.

Sending and Receiving Payment

If I have multiple accounts in Hang Seng Bank, which account will be used to receive money sent via Easy Pay?

What is the maximum amount I can send via Easy Pay?

You are required to set up a small value transfer limit for Easy Pay during registration. The maximum payment limit allowed is HKD 10,000 per day.

Is there a charge for sending or receiving money via Easy Pay?

There is no charge for sending or receiving money via Easy Pay.

How many favorite payee record can I add?

You can add up to 20 favorite payee records.

What is Pay by QR Code?

You can use Pay by QR code function (need to grant your mobile device camera or photo gallery permission) to make payment to payee. After scan the QR code, you can confirm the payment details as shown and make payment.

How to generate QR code for receiving payment?

You need to register FPS and set a Hang Seng account as the default receiving account. After registration, select "Receive" in Easy Pay service, Input details to generate the QR code for receiving payment. You can save the generated QR code or directly share the QR code to other mobile applications.

I have registered Easy Pay before 30th Sep, 2018, do I need to register again to enjoy the new services?

To enjoy the new services under Easy Pay after 30th Sep, 2018, it is not required to register the service again. However, you can set up your valid CNY saving/current account as default payment account for CNY transaction if needed.
