^ "First-time Successful Enrolment Customers" refers to customers
who have not successfully enrolled in the Travelsure Protection
Plan Single Trip Cover in the capacity of the policyholder
in the past 24 months.
# "Selected Customers" refers to customers who have successfully
enrolled in the Travelsure Protection Plan Single Trip Cover
in the capacity of the policyholder in the past 24 months
and will be entitled to an additional “Loyalty Reward” premium
discount of 5% (i.e. 35% premium discount in total) if they
successfully enrol in a Single Trip Cover again via ,
Hang Seng Personal e-Banking, 24-hour Enrolment Hotline or
Hang Seng Credit Card Customer Service Hotline. |

Upon successful enrolment in the Travelsure
Protection Plan Single Trip Cover within the promotion period
via any designated enrolment method, the policyholder will
receive a Häagen-Dazs™ Single Scoop Voucher per
Travelsure insurance policy provided that the net premium
amount of the policy concerned equivalent to HKD300 or above.
"Net Premium Amount" refers to the payable premium amount
after applying premium discount and any applicable gift voucher(s). |

QBE General Insurance (Hong
Kong) Limited (“QBE GIHK”) will reimburse the Insured Person
if the rental vehicle being driven by the Insured Person is
involved in a collision or such vehicle is stolen or damaged
during the Journey and the rental agreement includes an excess
or excludes tyres, windscreen and undercarriage, which makes
the Insured Person liable for the loss or damage of the Rental
Vehicle, QBE GIHK will pay the rental vehicle excess up to
the maximum claim of HKD50,000, subject to benefit
Vehicle Rental Excess Coverage is payable and the original maximum
amount payable under this benefit has been exceeded. QBE GIHK
will also cover for the loss or damage to tyres, windscreen
and undercarriage if excluded in the rental agreement up to
HKD50,000. This Coverage Top-up is applicable to the Single
Trip Cover Policy of Area 2 and 3 successfully enrolled during
the promotion period. The Insured Person must take relevant
comprehensive motor vehicle insurance provided by the rental
organization against loss or damage to the rental vehicle
during the rental period. |

It is hereby noted and agreed that Section
8 – Loss of Deposit or Cancellation and Section 9 – Curtailment
of the policy is extended to cover the loss of irrecoverable
pre-paid cost or additional cost incurred arising from Natural
Disaster in the country of destination up to the maximum claim of HKD30,000, subject to Policy terms and conditions.
If whilst the Policy is in force, an Insured Person suffers
an Injury due to a Natural Disaster, which directly and independently
of all other causes results in Accidental Death or Permanent
Disablement, QBE GIHK will pay subject to Policy terms and
conditions, an additional claim amount under Section 2 – Personal
Accident up to HKD300,000. In the event of Medical Expenses
is incurred as a direct result of Natural Disaster, QBE GIHK
will pay subject to Policy terms and conditions, an additional
claim amount of Medical Expenses under Section 1 – Medical
and Other Expenses up to HKD150,000. Natural Disaster means
a landslide, lightning, typhoon, earthquake, volcanic eruption,
tsunami, hurricane or sandstorm. This Extension is applicable
to the Single Trip Cover successfully enrolled during the
promotion period, and will not cover Natural Disaster(s) occurred
in the country of planned destination prior to the insurance
application. |

During the Promotion Period, Travelsure Protection Plan Single Trip Cover is available to customers who is aged under 100 (at the departure date). However, the maximum amount for the benefits of Medical and Other Related Expenses and Personal Accident will be limited to 50% if the Insured Person is aged 70 or above (at the date of incident). |

During the Promotion Period, the customers aged from 75 to 99 (on the departure date) can enrol Travelsure Protection Plan Single Trip Cover via the 24-hour Enrolment Hotline. |
8. |
Only applicable to the Travelsure Protection
Plan Annual Global Cover or Single Trip Cover – Area 2 (including
Mainland China, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Guam, India,
Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macau SAR, Malaysia, Mongolia,
Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Saipan, Singapore,
Taiwan, Thailand, Tinian and Vietnam) and Area 3 (refers to
Worldwide). For an Insured Person aged 70 or above (on the
day of injury), the maximum amount for the benefits of Medical
and Other Expenses and Personal Accident will be limited to
50%. For an Insured Person aged under 18 (on the day of death),
the accidental death benefit will be limited to HKD100,000. |
9. |
Extended to cover for acts of terrorism,
except for loss, damage, death, Injury, Sickness, cost or
expense of whatsoever nature directly or indirectly caused
by, contributed by, resulting from or in connection with any
acts of terrorism involving the use or release or the threat
thereof of any nuclear weapon or device or chemical or biological
agent, regardless of any other cause or event contributing
concurrently or in any other sequence to the loss. |

In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English version and the Chinese versions of the above information, the English version shall apply and prevail.
The Travelsure Protection Plan (the “Plan”) is underwritten
by QBE General Insurance (Hong Kong) Limited which is authorised
and regulated by the Commissioner of Insurance of the HKSAR.
Hang Seng Bank Limited (“Hang Seng Bank”) is an insurance
agent authorised by QBE GIHK ("QBE GIHK") for the
distribution of the Plan. Premiums will be payable to QBE
GIHK upon enrolment of the Plan. QBE GIHK would provide Hang
Seng Bank commission and performance bonus accordingly in
respect of the selling of the Plan. The existing staff remuneration
policy on sales offered by Hang Seng Bank takes into account
various aspects of the staff performance instead of focusing
solely on the sales amount.
In respect of an eligible dispute arising between the Hang
Seng Bank and the customer out of the selling process or processing
of the related transaction, Hang Seng Bank is required to
enter into a Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme process with
the customer; however any dispute over the contractual terms
of the product should be resolved between directly QBE GIHK
and the customer. |
