Notice on Enhancing Security Control for
Online Securities and Other Investment Services

In order to enhance security control for online securities and other investment services, starting from 15 April 2018, customers will be required to use two-factor authentication ("2FA") for accessing our online investment trading platform via Personal e-Banking or Personal Mobile App. Otherwise, customers will not be able to use the below investment services through our online investment trading platform:

IPO Bond Services

# 2FA is not required for accessing market information provided in Securities Express, HK Stocks Watch List under the Securities section and Fund SuperMart under the Investment Funds section.

Search for "Hang Seng" at the official app stores of Google Play and App Store to download the Hang Seng Personal Banking mobile app and activate the Mobile Security Key.

Please Note: This tool will be deactivated after 25 July 2018.

To avoid any inconvenience to your investment trading, please activate the Mobile Security Key, apply for a Security Device or register your mobile phone number with us before the effective date in order to enjoy continued access to the above-mentioned online investment services.

Besides, please ensure that your correspondence address, email address and mobile number registered with the Bank are accurate in order to receive the Security Device / validation code / One-Time Password sent by the Bank.

The above 2FA arrangement is only applicable to Online and Mobile Investment Services. 2FA is not applicable to investment trading through other channels. For enquiry, please call our customer service hotline 2822-0228 (press 8, 4 after language selection).
