Terms and Conditions for Hang Seng Digital Banking Promotion (“Promotion”)

    General Terms and Conditions:

    1. The promotion period of the Promotion is from 1 January to 31 March 2021 (both days inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).
    2. The Promotion is applicable to the below Hang Seng Bank Limited (“Hang Seng”) customers who satisfy all the requirements in paragraphs 2i to 2iii (“Eligible Customers”):
      1. Personal customers holding a Prestige Signature, Prestige Banking, Preferred Banking, Green Banking, Integrated Account, HKD Savings / Current Account with Hang Seng or a Hang Seng Credit Card (each an “Eligible Account”); and,
      2. Have a valid mobile number and email address under Hang Seng’s record; and,
      3. Is either:
        1. New Personal e-Banking Customers (“New Customers”): The customers who did not register Hang Seng Personal e-Banking between 1 July and 31 December 2020 and successfully registered Hang Seng Personal e-Banking via hangseng.comhangseng.com (desktop version) or Hang Seng Personal Banking mobile app within the Promotion Period; or
        2. Existing Personal e-Banking Customers: All customers who hold a valid Hang Seng Personal e-Banking account on or before 31 December 2020.
    3. New Customers will receive a SMS from Hang Seng regarding the redemption of Welcome Reward which contain the instruction to register H A R O on WhatsApp at designated registration website and perform the instant lucky draw using the lucky code at H A R O on WhatsApp.
    4. Eligible Customers must maintain the Eligible Account and the e-Banking service shall remain effective until 30 June 2021 in order to receive the offers stated under this Promotion (“Offer”).
    5. For joint accounts, only the primary account holder is eligible for this Offer.
    6. Hang Seng will credit the Cash Rewards (“Cash Reward”) in Hong Kong dollars into the relevant Eligible Account of the Eligible Customer on or before 30 June 2021. The relevant Eligible Account must remain valid when the relevant Cash Rewards are credited.
    7. Unless otherwise specified, the Offer is not applicable to Commercial Banking and Private Banking customers of the Bank, and cannot be used in conjunction with other offer(s) of Hang Seng. This Promotion is not applicable to Hang Seng Supplementary Card, Business Card, Commercial Card, USD Visa Gold Card, UnionPay RMB Diamond Commercial Card, Renminbi Credit Card, Spending Card, e-shopping Mastercard and Private Label Card. 
    8. Hang Seng reserves the right to suspend, revise or terminate the Promotion at any time and to amend the Terms and Conditions thereof from time to time. In case of any disputes, the decision of Hang Seng shall be final.
    9. No person other than the Customer and Hang Seng (which includes its successors and assigns) will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provision of these Terms and Conditions.
    10. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
    11. These Terms and Conditions are subject to prevailing regulatory requirements.
    12. The English version of these terms and conditions shall prevail whenever there is a discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions.

    Terms and Conditions for “Welcome Reward for New Personal e-Banking Customers” (the “Welcome Reward”):

    1. New Customers who successfully register Hang Seng Personal e-Banking via hangseng.comhangseng.com (desktop version) or Hang Seng Personal e-Banking mobile app and register at least one of the Eligible Accounts for the e-Statement service within 7 calendar days of e-Banking registration, will receive a SMS from Hang Seng regarding the Welcome Reward within 30 business days, such SMS contain the registration website of H A R O on WhatsApp and lucky code. New Customer must follow the instruction as stated on the SMS to register H A R O on WhatsApp at designated registration website and perform the instant lucky draw (“Lucky Draw”) at H A R O on WhatsApp.
    2. Upon receiving the relevant SMS, New Customers must perform the Lucky Draw on or before 30 April 2021. Lucky Draw entry will not be re-issue if expired.
    3. By completing registration at H A R O on WhatsApp, this indicates New Customer agrees to the terms set out in the Hang Seng Virtual Assistant on WhatsApp Terms and Conditions (for details please visit hangseng.com/en-hk/e-services/harohangseng.com/en-hk/e-services/haro). New Customer cannot perform the Lucky Draw if does not agree the Hang Seng Virtual Assistant on WhatsApp Terms and Conditions.
    4. A total of 6,005 winners will be drawn (“Winner”), and each winner is entitled to redeem one of the prizes listed as below (“Lucky Draw Prize”):

    5. The Winner need to go through the link provided by H A R O WhatsApp to a third-party website to receive the Lucky Draw Prize.
    6. In any condition, all Lucky Draw Prize is non-exchangeable for other gifts and no change will be given. Hotel e-Cash Coupon and Food Ordering e-Cash Coupon (e-Cash Coupon) are non-redeemable for cash and will not be re-issued if deleted, lost, damaged or unused after expiry.
    7. Hang Seng reserves the right to substitute the Lucky Draw Prize with other gifts at any time without prior notice and without reason. The value or nature of the substitute gift may differ from the Lucky Draw Prize offered in this Promotion.
    8. After downloading the e-Cash Coupon, the Winner can redeem the e-Cash Coupon awarded by presenting it to The Peninsula Hong Kong or in foodpanda mobile app (as the case may be), on or before the expiry date shown on the e-Cash Coupon. Any expired e-Cash Coupon will not be accepted or replaced. Use of the e-Cash Coupon may also be subject to any terms and conditions as shown on the e-Cash Coupon or as set out by The Peninsula Hong Kong or foodpanda (as the case may be).
    9. Each e-Cash Coupon can only be used once and will expire once used. Payment must be made for any spending amount exceeding the face value of the e-Cash Coupon, while no change will be given when the spending amount is less than its face value. The Peninsula Hong Kong and foodpanda reserve the right of final decision on determining the validity of any e-Cash Coupon. 
    10. Hang Seng is not the supplier of the e-Cash Coupon and will therefore not be responsible for any liability relating to the e-Cash Coupon. Any matters with regards to the quality and availability of the product(s) and/or service(s) relating to the e-Cash Coupon will be the sole obligations of the supplier of the e-Cash Coupon. Any disputes or complaints relating to the e-Cash Coupon shall be resolved directly between the customers concerned and the supplier. For the details of how to use the e-Cash Coupon, please refer to the terms and conditions shown/printed thereon.

    Terms and Conditions for “Faster Payment System Registration Reward” Promotion:

    1. Eligible Customer should register Faster Payment System (“FPS”) with his/her Hong Kong Identity Card number and set Hang Seng as FPS default receiving bank for the first time within the Promotion Period.  Hang Seng will select a total of 6,000 Eligible Customers on random basis and reward HKD50 Cash Reward.
