Terms and Conditions for Welcome Reward, Mobile Account Opening Reward and Digital Banking Bonus Reward Promotion (“Promotion”):

Promotion Period and Eligibility

  1. This Promotion is from 1 January to 31 March 2023 (both days inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).
  2. The Promotion applies to Hang Seng customers who hold a Signature, Prestige Banking, Preferred Banking, Green Banking, Integrated Account, or HKD Savings / Current Account with Hang Seng (each an “Eligible Account”) (“Eligible Customers”).
  3. The Promotion is not applicable to:
    1. Commercial Banking customers of the Bank;
    2. Hang Seng Supplementary Card, Business Card, Commercial Card, USD Visa Gold Card, UnionPay RMB Diamond Commercial Card, Renminbi Credit Card, Spending Card, e‑shopping Mastercard and Private Label Card.

Welcome Reward for New Personal e‑Banking Customers

  1. An Eligible Customer who (i) successfully registers Hang Seng Personal e‑Banking via Hang Seng Bank website (desktop version) or Hang Seng Mobile App, and (ii) registers the e‑Statement service for at least one of the Eligible Accounts within 7 calendar days of the e‑Banking registration (i.e. if you register personal e‑Banking on 10th October, the last day of e‑Statement registration is 17th October) within the Promotion Period, is entitled to enter the “Welcome Lucky Draw”.
  2. Each Eligible Customer is entitled to a maximum of one Welcome Lucky Draw entry only. There will be a total of 150 winners (“Welcome Reward Winners”).
  3. Each Welcome Reward Winner is entitled to a HKD1,000 HKTVmall e‑Gift voucher (“Welcome Reward”).
  4. A Welcome Reward Winner will receive an SMS (“Welcome Reward SMS”) from Hang Seng regarding the Welcome Reward within 30 business days of e‑Statement registration . The Welcome Reward SMS will contain the registration website of H A R O on WhatsApp and lucky code.
  5. Welcome Reward Winner must follow the instructions as stated on the Welcome Reward SMS to register H A R O on WhatsApp at designated registration website and perform the instant lucky draw at H A R O on WhatsApp on or before 30 April 2023. Welcome Lucky Draw entry will not be re-issued if expired.
  6. Welcome Reward Winner will need to agree to the Hang Seng Virtual Assistant on WhatsApp Terms and Conditions in order to perform the Welcome Lucky Draw.

Mobile Account Opening Reward

  1. An Eligible Customer who registers for e‑Banking and e‑Statement service in accordance with clause 4 and successfully opens Preferred Banking account and/ or Prestige Banking account via Hang Seng Mobile App within the Promotion Period , is entitled to enter the “Account Opening Lucky Draw”.
  2. Each Eligible Customer is entitled to a maximum of one Account Opening Lucky Draw entry only. There will be a total of 30 winners (“Account Opening Reward Winners”).
  3. Each Account Opening Reward Winner is entitled to a HKD100 HKTVmall e‑Gift voucher (“Account Opening Reward”).
  4. An Account Opening Reward Winner will receive an SMS from Hang Seng regarding the Account Opening Reward within 30 business days upon the completion of item stated in clause 10. The SMS will contain the registration website of H A R O on WhatsApp and lucky code.
  5. Account Opening Reward Winner must follow the instruction as stated on the SMS to register H A R O on WhatsApp at designated registration website and perform the instant Account Opening Lucky Draw at H A R O on WhatsApp on or before 30 April 2023. Account Opening Lucky Draw entry will not be re-issued if expired.
  6. Account Opening Reward Winner will need to agree to the Hang Seng Virtual Assistant on WhatsApp Terms and Conditions in order to perform the Account Opening Lucky Draw.

Digital Banking Bonus Reward

  1. Eligible Customers who have completed any of the designated items (“Designated Items”) below via Hang Seng Personal e‑Banking (Desktop version) or Hang Seng Mobile App within the Promotion Period can earn the corresponding number of “Cash Reward Lucky Draw” entries to win cash reward (“Cash Reward”).

  2. An Eligible Customer can only get one lucky draw entry for each of designated Items (1) and (5). He/she can get multiple lucky draw entries for designated items (2), (3) and (4) in accordance with the table above.
  3. The Cash Reward Lucky Draw will be conducted by Hang Seng on or before 30 June 2023. Each winner (“Cash Reward Lucky Draw Winner”) is entitled to the Cash Reward listed above.
  4. Hang Seng will credit the Cash Reward in Hong Kong Dollars into the winners’ account on or before 30 June 2023. The Cash Reward Lucky Draw Winners must still hold the relevant Eligible Account and the account status must remain normal when the relevant Cash Reward is credited.
  5. Hang Seng will verify the validity of the Cash Reward Lucky Draw Winners’ relevant transaction records to determine eligibility of any Cash Reward. In the event of any dispute, Hang Seng's records shall prevail.

Use of HKTVmall e‑Gift voucher

  1. HKTVmall e‑Gift vouchers (“Vouchers”) are non-exchangeable for cash or any other gift. Vouchers will not be re-issued if deleted, lost, damaged or unused after expiry.
  2. Hang Seng reserves the right to replace the Vouchers with other gifts at any time without prior notice and without reason. The value or nature of the substitute gift may differ from the Vouchers offered in this Promotion.
  3. The Welcome Reward Winners and Account Opening Reward Winners (“Winners”) must use the Vouchers on or before the expiry date shown on the Vouchers .
  4. Winners must log in to HKTVmall account to redeem the Vouchers.
  5. The Voucher can only be used for online purchase at HKTVmall through its website or mobile applications. The Voucher cannot be used for shopping in HKTVmall O2O shop, online shopping at HKTV Lite, payment by HKTVpay, transactions made at HKTVexpress, or any add on app or service.
  6. The redemption code can only be redeemed once.
  7. Once the redemption code is redeemed successfully, the Voucher will be sent into your account and it cannot be transferred to other accounts.
  8. The Voucher cannot be used to purchase any HKTVmall voucher, Pre Sale Fruits (O2O Pickup Only), Voluntary Health Insurance Scheme (VHIS), life insurance products, Google Play Gift Code, App Store & iTunes Gift Card and The Prepaid Shop's items.
  9. The Voucher cannot be exchanged to cash or Mall Dollar cash rebate in HKTVmall.
  10. The Voucher cannot be used to settle any delivery charges and/ or extra charges arising from merchant delivery in HKTVmall.
  11. No refund or exchange for Mall Dollar will be made for any unused balance of the Voucher.
  12. Maximum of 10 Vouchers can be used in each order in HKTVmall.
  13. Hang Seng is not the supplier of the products purchased using the Vouchers and will therefore not be responsible for any liability relating to the products. All products are directly sold and supplied by the participating merchants on HKTVmall Platform. The merchants are solely responsible for the products including quality, availability and delivery. Hang Seng is not responsible for any product quality, delivery or self-pick-up arrangement, warranty and repair services of the products, including parallel imports. Customers should assess the related risks before purchase. Please contact the participating merchants for product details.

General

  1. Hang Seng reserves the right to suspend, revise or terminate the Promotion at any time and to amend the Terms and Conditions from time to time. In case of any disputes, the decision of Hang Seng shall be final.
  2. Any logon that is found to be fraudulent will not be considered as eligible logon and the relevant customer will not be rewarded. The Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other Hang Seng promotion and offer.
  3. No person other than the customer and Hang Seng (which includes its successors and assigns) will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provision of these Terms and Conditions.
  4. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
  5. These Terms and Conditions are subject to prevailing regulatory requirements.
  6. The English version of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail in the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions.
