Notes:
  1. The maximum claim for Medical and Other Related Expenses is HKD1,000,000 (Annual Global Cover), HKD600,000 (Annual China Cover – Plan B) and HKD200,000 (Annual China Cover – Plan A) under Travelsure Protection Plan. The maximum claim for Personal Accident is HKD1,000,000 (Annual Global Cover), HKD600,000 (Annual China Cover – Plan B) and HKD400,000 (Annual China Cover – Plan A). For an Insured Person aged under 18 (on the day of death), the accidental death benefit will be limited to HKD100,000.
  2. This benefit is only applicable to the Travelsure Protection Plan Annual Global Cover. If the trip has to be cancelled due to the issuance of Red Alert or Black Alert or unexpected Natural Disaster in the country of planned destination before the departure of the Journey, all the paid and irrecoverable expenses for tours, air tickets or hotel accommodation will be reimbursed. The maximum claim is HKD30,000. Benefits payable for Loss of Deposit or Cancellation under Red Alert is up to 50% of the relevant loss under this Section; whereas benefits payable under Black Alert is up to 100% of the relevant loss under this Section.
  3. This benefit is only applicable to the Travelsure Protection Plan Annual Global Cover. If the Insured Person rents or hires a rental vehicle during the Journey which is involved in a collision whilst under his/ her control or the rental vehicle is stolen or damaged and the rental agreement includes an insurance excess (or deductible or similar condition), the Insured Person will be reimbursed, according to the Policy. The insurance excess paid for the above described loss or damage to such rental vehicle, is up to maximum HKD5,000. This benefit shall be payable only once per Journey. The Insured Person must take the relevant comprehensive motor vehicle insurance provided by the rental organisation against loss or damage to the rental vehicle during the rental period.
  4. The maximum amount recoverable for each mobile telecommunication device is HKD1,500 (Annual China Cover) and HKD5,000 (Annual Global Cover) under the Travelsure Protection Plan.
  5. Sports activities include: Undersea Sports - sea walking, diving and/or scuba-diving; Water Sports – swimming, snorkeling, wind surfing, water surfing, water skiing, parasailing, banana boat trip, water motorcycling, rafting, canoeing, boating or kayaking, sailing, cruising, fishing on boat or yacht, and sliding in a licensed water park; Winter Sports – skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, sledding, snow motorcycling and ice skating.
  6. If both applicant and his/ her spouse apply for the plan as Insured Persons, premium for all dependent unmarried children(irrespective of the number) who are aged under 18 (at the departure date) and are travelling with the applicant and/or the spouse for the entire period will be waived. If either applicant or his/ her spouse apply for the plan together with his /her children, the premium of the child(ren) will be charged as one adult (for more than one child, only the premium of one adult will be charged).

The above general insurance plan ("Plan") is underwritten by QBE General Insurance (Hong Kong) Limited ("QBE GIHK") which is authorised and regulated in Hong Kong by the Insurance Authority. Hang Seng Bank Limited ("Hang Seng Bank") is an insurance agent authorised by QBE GIHK for the distribution of this Plan. Premiums will be payable to QBE GIHK upon application for this Plan. QBE GIHK will provide Hang Seng Bank with commission and performance bonus as remuneration for distribution of this Plan. The existing staff remuneration policy on sales offered by Hang Seng Bank takes into account various aspects of the staff performance instead of focusing solely on the sales amount.

In respect of an eligible dispute arising between the Hang Seng Bank and the customer out of the selling process or processing of the related transaction, Hang Seng Bank is required to enter into a Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme process with the customer; however any dispute over the contractual terms of the product should be resolved directly between QBE GIHK and the customer.
