Terms and Conditions of the Offer of “E-voucher reward exclusive to Hang Seng Olive Wellness App members upon successful insurance application online” (“the Promotion”):

  1. The promotion period is from 1 April 2024 to 30 June 2024 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).
  2. The Promotion is applicable to personal customers but not corporate customers of Hang Seng Bank Limited (“Hang Seng Bank”).
  3. The Promotion is only applicable to personal customers who are existing or newly registered member of Hang Seng Olive Wellness App (“Hang Seng Olive”) and who successfully apply for 2 or more different Designated Life Insurance Plans (as defined below) in the same online application journey via Hang Seng Bank’s website within the Promotion Period (“Qualified Customer”) and input a valid Olive Redemption Code (as defined below) into Hang Seng Olive upon successful policy issuance and after the cooling off period is ended .
  4. Designated Life Insurance Plans include QuickReward Endowment Life Insurance Plan (1-Year) (“QuickReward”), EasyRefund 100% Global Hospital Cash Plan (3-Year) (“EasyRefund”), eCancerPro Insurance Plan (“eCancerPro”), eFamilyPro Life Insurance Plan (“eFamilyPro”), 5-Year eEndowment Life Insurance Plan including The Choice 5-Year Life Insurance Plan (HKD) / (USD) and ImperialDragon (RMB) Life Insurance Plan (“5-Year eEndowment Life Insurance Plan”) (“Designated Insurance Plans”) which are underwritten by Hang Seng Insurance Company Limited (“Hang Seng Insurance”). Hang Seng Bank is the authorised insurance agent of Hang Seng Insurance.
  5. Any applications for the Designated Life Insurance Plans with unposted/cancelled/refunded premium will not be qualified as eligible applications for this Promotion.
  6. Qualified Customer can enjoy a reward of HKTVmall e-voucher(s) (the“Reward”) upon successful policy issuance and after the end of the cooling off period.
  7. Details of the Reward are as follows:

    ^ For eCancerPro and eFamilyPro that are added on in the same application journey, the Sum Insured of each of these policies applied must be equivalent to or exceed HKD 2 million to enjoy the corresponding Reward.

    Illustrative example:
    If a personal customer applies for QuickReward as the main insurance plan applied and apply both eCancerPro^ and EasyRefund as add-on insurance plans in the same online application journey, a total of HKD100 HKTVmall e-voucher will be rewarded.

  8. The first 4 digits and alphabets of Qualified Customer’s Hong Kong Identification Document number together with his or her surname in capital letters will form the Olive Redemption Code (“Olive Redemption Code”). If Qualified Customer has more than one eligible application of multiple Designated Insurance Plan purchase, an extra numeric number should be added at last of the Olive Redemption Code to indicate the ordinal number of applications eg A123CHAN2.
  9. Upon successful policy issuance and 5 working days after the end of the cooling off period, Qualified Customer can enter the Olive Redemption Code in Hang Seng Olive to redeem the Reward between 11 July 2024 and 30 September 2024 (both dates inclusive). After entering a valid Olive Redemption Code, corresponding Reward will be credited into the Qualified Customer's Hang Seng Olive account immediately.
  10. Qualified Customer must be the policyholder of the Designated Insurance Plans and the owner of the Hang Seng Olive account for redeeming the Reward.

    Example of Olive Redemption Code combination:
    If the Hong Kong Identification Document number of the Qualified Customer is A123456(7) and the full name of the Qualified Customer is Chan Tai Man, the Olive Redemption Code in such case would be A123CHAN.

  11. Hang Seng Bank and Hang Seng Insurance are not the supplier of the HKTVmall e-voucher and will not assume any liability in relation to the same. The supplier shall be solely responsible for all issues related to the quality and availability of the relevant products and services. Any disputes arising in relation to the HKTVmall e-voucher shall be resolved between customers and the relevant supplier. For details of the terms and conditions of the HKTVmall e-voucher, please refer to the website of the relevant supplier or the HKTVmall e-voucher.
  12. No alteration or cancellation can be made to the redemption of the Reward, and the credited Reward cannot be transferred or converted into cash under any circumstances.
  13. The policies of the Designated Insurance Plans must remain effective on 10 July 2024 in order to be eligible for the Reward in this Promotion, subject to all the terms of the Promotion herein.
  14. Any transactions which are eventually cancelled / returned or found to be fraudulent will be considered as ineligible transactions which are not applicable to the Promotion and thus no Reward will be offered.
  15. The Promotion is jointly offered by Hang Seng Bank and Hang Seng Insurance. In case of any dispute arising out of the Promotion, the decision of Hang Seng Bank and Hang Seng Insurance shall be final and conclusive.
  16. Hang Seng Insurance shall have the right to decide whether or not to accept the insurance application based on information provided by the Policyholders or the Life Insured upon application.
  17. Hang Seng Bank and Hang Seng Insurance reserve the right to vary or convert the Reward to other forms of rewards (including but not limited to gift vouchers) equivalent to the same values / amounts / earnings ratio of the Reward from time to time without prior notice.
  18. Hang Seng Bank and Hang Seng Insurance reserve the right to adjust, withdraw or cancel the Promotion and/or the offer of the Rewards and to amend or revise any of these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice and without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
  19. Unless otherwise specified, Qualified Customers can enjoy the offer in this Promotion in conjunction with other life insurance product offers, excluding Hang Seng Bank staff privileges.
  20. No person other than the Qualified Customers, Hang Seng Bank and Hang Seng Insurance (which includes their successors and assigns) will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
  21. Hang Seng Bank and Hang Seng Insurance reserve the right of final decision on all matters relating to the above offer and/or the Promotion, which shall be binding on all the parties concerned. In case of any dispute, the decision of Hang Seng Bank and Hang Seng Insurance shall be final.
  22. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
  23. These Terms and Conditions are subject to prevailing regulatory requirements.
  24. In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of the terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.

In respect of an eligible dispute (as defined in the Terms of Reference for the Financial Dispute Resolution Centre in relation to the Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme) arising between Hang Seng Bank and you out of the selling process or processing of the related insurance product transaction, Hang Seng Bank will enter into a Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme process with you; however any dispute over the contractual terms of the insurance products should be resolved between Hang Seng Insurance and you directly.
