Remark:
- The cash advance amount cannot exceed the available credit limit. Based on 1 November 2022, for cash advance, an interest will be calculated from the date of such advance to a date on which payment is received. The Annualized Percentage Rate (APR) is 38.37% for cash advance in general and 36.38% for cash advance with $0 Handling Fee. APR may vary and adjust among different card products, please refer to your statement for details. APR is calculated in accordance with the Code of Banking Practice. APR is a reference rate which expresses the fees and charges of respective product as an annualized rate.
Terms and Conditions
- The promotion period is from 1 November 2022 to 31 March 2023 ("Promotion Period").
- The offer is available to all credit card principal accounts of the cardholders who have received the promotion message or SMS / e-mail (the "Selected Customers") sent from Hang Seng Bank Limited ("Hang Seng") during the period between November 2022 to March 2023. The offer is not applicable to Supplementary Card, Business Card, Commercial Card, e-shopping Mastercard, Spending Card, USD Visa Gold Card, Renminbi Credit Card and Private Label Card.
- To further enhance the security for cash withdrawal at overseas ATM, the overseas ATM daily cash withdrawal limit (including cash advance) of all credit cards / spending cards are pre-set to $0 due to security reasons. If customers would like to withdraw cash (including cash advance) at overseas ATMs, they are required to activate the overseas ATM cash withdrawal function by setting new overseas ATM daily cash withdrawal limit (including cash advance) and activation period in advance via designated activation channels.
- The cash advance facility is subject to these Terms and Conditions and the applicable Cardmember Agreement. By withdrawal, customers are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions and the Cardmember Agreement in full and will be bound by them. In case of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and the Cardmember Agreement, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
- Hang Seng reserves the right to suspend, revise or terminate the above offers at any time and to amend the terms and conditions thereof from time to time. In case of any dispute, the decision of Hang Seng shall be final.
- These terms and conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
- These terms and conditions are subject to prevailing regulatory requirements.
- No person other than the customers and Hang Seng (which includes its successors and assigns) will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provision of these Terms and Conditions.
- In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
Note: Hang Seng Spending Card account is a non-interest bearing account. Funds maintained in the Hang Seng Spending Card account are not protected deposits and are not protected by the Deposit Protection Scheme in Hong Kong.
