About the definition of the Eligible Incremental Balance
Eligible Incremental Balance means the net growth amount of the average daily deposit balance of the Eligible Deposit Account during the Promotion Period as compared with the deposit balance as of 28 February 2022 (for Eligible Deposit Account in USD, the incremental balance will be calculated in USD first, then converted into its HKD equivalent amount based on the exchange rate solely determined by the Bank on 30 June 2022). All the related account deposit balances shall be based on the records of the Bank. Example 1: Calculation of the average daily deposit balance during the Promotion Period Assuming that a customer has the following HKD deposit balances and transactions during the Promotion Period:

Calculation of average daily deposit balance
HKD figures are used in the above illustration and the same mechanism applies to the calculation of the average daily deposit balance in any applicable currency during the Promotion Period.
Example 2: Calculation of the Eligible Incremental Balance
Assuming the HKD and USD deposit balance of a customer and the exchange rate on 30 June 2022 are as follows:
• USD : HKD = 7.7500

Example 2: Calculation of the Eligible Incremental Balance
Assuming the HKD and USD deposit balance of a customer and the exchange rate on 30 June 2022 are as follows:
• USD : HKD = 7.7500
