Terms and Conditions of Lucky Draw Grand Prizes Offer (the “Lucky Draw Reward”)


  1. The promotion period is from 17 Sep 2018 to 31 Jan 2019, both dates inclusive (the “Promotion Period”).
  2. The Lucky Draw Reward includes a total worth of HKD1,000,000 free credit spending. The Lucky Draw Reward is applicable to customers who have registered Hang Seng Personal e-Banking and have to complete the following requirements(the “Eligible Customers”):
    1. have a valid mobile number or email address under Hang Seng Bank’s record; and
    2. successfully register Hang Seng Bank (the “Bank”) as Faster Payment System (FPS) default receiving bank (by mobile no./email address/FPS ID) via Hang Seng Personal e-Banking or Hang Seng Personal mobile app and the status of it should remain valid on or before 31 Jan 2019.
  3. Eligible Customers conduct designated actions or transactions and fulfill the requirements in below table via Hang Seng Personal e-Banking or Hang Seng Personal Banking mobile app within the Promotion Period to enjoy the corresponding number of lucky draw entry(s) as per below table:

    (if customers cannot fulfill the said status, the lucky draw entry accumulation will be suspended; and lucky draw entry accumulation will be resumed only when the said status is fulfilled)
    Complete 3rd party fund transfer via FPS/Hang Seng Easy Pay (including fund transfer in and out) From 30 Sep 2018 to 31 Jan 2019 Customers need to maintain the status of Hang Seng Bank as FPS default receiving bank when conducting the transaction ; and
    The transaction amount must be HKD100 / CNY100 or above    		 1 entry per successful transaction
    (if customers cannot fulfill the said status, the lucky draw entry accumulation will be suspended; and lucky draw entry accumulation will be resumed only when the said status is fulfilled)
    Complete Online Bill Payment From 30 Sep 2018 to 31 Jan 2019 Customers need to maintain the status of Hang Seng Bank as FPS default receiving bank when conducting the transaction ; and
    The transaction amount must be HKD100 / CNY100 or above    		 1 entry per successful transaction
    (if customers cannot fulfill the said status, the lucky draw entry accumulation will be suspended; and lucky draw entry accumulation will be resumed only when the said status is fulfilled)

    *Maximum total number of lucky draw entries per day is 10
  4. A total of 3 winners will be drawn during Promotion Period for HKD500,000 free credit spending reward (1 Winner), HKD300,000 free credit spending reward (1 Winner) and HKD200,000 free credit spending reward (1 Winner) as the Lucky Draw Winners (the “Winners”).
  5. Each Eligible Customer can entitle Lucky Draw Reward once during the Promotion Period.
  6. The Bank reserves the right to publicize the Winners’ list and the relevant information of the Prize presentation ceremony for any marketing purpose.
  7. For joint accounts, only the primary account holder is eligible for the Lucky Draw Reward.
  8. Any registration or transaction that is found to be fraudulent will not be considered as eligible registration or transaction, and the related customer will not be rewarded.
  9. The Bank will notify the Winners by phone and the Notification Letter of the Lucky Draw Reward (“Notification Letter”) will be mailed by 30 Apr 2019 to the Winners’ local correspondence addresses according to the Bank’s record at the time of mailing.
  10. The Winners have to ensure their correspondence addresses at the Bank’s record are valid and correct. If the Winners have terminated the relevant accounts of the Bank at the time of mailing, the Lucky Draw Reward will be deemed to be forfeited.
  11. The Winners will be required to successfully apply for an eligible Hang Seng Credit Card specified within the period specified. The Bank reserves the right to request the provision of any proof in relation to any such credit card application and the right of final decision on approving or rejecting a credit card application and the card type to be offered. Once the eligible Hang Seng Credit Card has been successfully approved, the Lucky Draw Reward to which the relevant Winners are entitled will be credited into their eligible Hang Seng Credit Card accounts by the Bank within two months.
  12. In case any such Winners’ Hang Seng Credit Card application is not successfully approved, the Bank will arrange such Winner to apply for an eligible Hang Seng Spending Card specified within the period specified. The Bank reserves the right to request the provision of any proof in relation to any such spending card application and the right of final decision on approving or rejecting a spending card application and the card type to be offered. Once the eligible Hang Seng Spending Card has been successfully approved, the Lucky Draw Reward to which the relevant Winners are entitled will be credited into their eligible Hang Seng Spending Card accounts by the Bank within two months.
  13. In case any such Winners’ Hang Seng Credit Card and Spending Card application are not successfully approved, the Bank reserves the rights to cancel the qualification of rewarding such Winner.
  14. The Lucky Draw Reward offered under this promotion cannot be transferred, converted to cash or other gifts.
  15. In case of any reason, the Bank reserves the right to substitute the Lucky Draw Reward with other gifts at any time without prior notice. The value or nature of the substitute gift may differ from the Lucky Draw Reward offered in this promotion.
  16. No person other than the customers and the Bank (which includes its successors and assigns) will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provision of these Terms and Conditions.
  17. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
  18. These Terms and Conditions are subject to prevailing regulatory requirements.
  19. The Bank reserves the right to suspend, vary or terminate the following offers at any time and to amend the relevant Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice. In case of any disputes, the decision of the Bank shall be final.
  20. In case of any disputes, the decision of the Bank on all matters relating to this promotion and the relevant offers shall be final and binding on all parties concerned. The relevant offers are subject to the Terms and Conditions of relevant products/ services. If there is any inconsistency between the Terms and Conditions of relevant products/services and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
  21. In case of any discrepancy between the English and the Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
