Terms and Conditions:

  1. The promotion period is from 9 May 2020 to 30 September 2020 (“Game Period”).
  2. This offer is only applicable to customers with Hang Seng Business e-Banking (“e-Banking”). Primary User(s) must register the “B E R I Fun Rewards” (“Game”) once successfully in BERI during the Game Period to have chance to win “Offer 1: First Time “e-Banking” Logon Welcome Reward” and “Offer 2: Earn Up to HK$800 Coupon Reward for Completing Designated Number of Tasks”. Customers will have a chance to win the Digital Cash Coupon ("coupon") if the designated tasks are completed by the registered Primary User(s) via e-Banking on or after the registration date to the end of the Game Period (please refer to point (6) and point (7) below for definition) (“Eligible Game Task(s)”).
  3. If the e-Banking customer has more than one Primary User, each Primary User is entitled to register the Game separately. If there are more than one registered Primary User under the e-Banking of the customer, the Eligible Game Task will only be counted to the registered Primary User that has completed or approved it on e-Banking. The required number of completed tasks for obtaining the rewards is counted on an individual Primary User basis. Transactions which are cancelled or cannot be successfully executed will not be counted. The coupon is available on a first-come-first-served basis while stock lasts.
  4. Registration will be opened to the first 4500 e-Banking Primary User. Primary User will participate in the Game and receive rewards on behalf of the customer.
  5. Primary User could check the completeness of the individual task of the Game (“Game Status”) in Game Dashboard (“Dashboard”) in BERI.
  6. Offer 1: “First Time e-Banking Logon Welcome Reward”
    Primary User will have a chance to win a HK$100 coupon after logging on to the e-Banking for the first time during the Game Period. Each registered Primary User is entitled to the reward once during the Game Period.

    1. Each Primary User is entitled to each of Reward 1, Reward 2 and Reward 3 once during the Game Period.
    2. Primary User will have a chance to be given either HK$300, HK$400 or HK$500 upon completing Reward 3. The amount of coupon rewarded will be randomly assigned by BERI.
    3. There is a Maximum Count for each individual Task. If the Primary User exceeds the maximum count as specified in the table above, the extra task will not be counted. For example, if the Primary User performs Task 2 at the 6th time during the Game Period, the 6th transaction has exceeded the Maximum Count for Eligible Game Task for Task 2 and will not be counted as Eligible Game Task for Reward 3.
    4. For Task 1 – 4, the Game Status will be refreshed and updated immediately in BERI Dashboard after the Primary User have completed the Task. For Task 5 - 6, the status will be refreshed within 2 working days after the Primary User has successfully submitted application.
    5. Task 1-6 will be counted as Eligible Game Task under a Primary User provided that:
      1. For Task 1-4, the task should be completed / authorized in e-Banking by the Primary User. If a task involves dual authorization, the task will be counted to the Primary User who authorizes for the task.
      2. For Task 5-6, the customer, the task will be counted to the Primary User who submits the application.
    6. For Task 2 & 4, if HKD transaction amount is not confirmed upon transaction request (including but not limited to: FX transaction in which HKD is not involved / Future Date FX transaction in which HKD amount is yet to be determined), Hang Seng Bank Limited (“Hang Seng”) will convert the relevant non-HKD transaction amount into HKD based on the exchange rate determined by Hang Seng in the Game Period, in order to calculate whether the transaction meets the required amount of an Eligible Game Task.
    7. For Task 2, transaction inputted with Prearranged FX Rate will NOT be counted.
    8. Task completion will be counted after the Primary User has successfully registered the Game.。
    9. Hang Seng reserve the right to cancel the entitlement of the coupon reward if the relevant Game Task completion requirement is no longer met due to cancellation of the transaction of a completed Game Task.
  8. Coupon is awarded in form of URL hyperlink (“hyperlink”). Primary User must download and save the hyperlink during the Game Period according to the instructions on screen in BERI. Hang Seng will not re-issue any coupon. The hyperlink may allow you to leave Hang Seng website. The website accessed through this hyperlink may not provide [you] with any regulatory protections. Hang Seng is not liable for your use of the “hyperlink” website.
  9. After downloading or saving the hyperlink, customer can use the coupon awarded by presenting it to any specified merchant ("Designated Merchant") as stated on the coupon on or before the expiry date shown on the coupon. Any expired coupon will not be accepted or replaced.
  10. Each coupon can only be used once and will expire once used. Payment must be made for any spending amount exceeding the face value of the coupon, while any remaining value of the coupon, when the spending amount is less than its face value, will be forfeited. The validity of any coupon is subject to the records of the Designated Merchant.
  11. Hang Seng is not the supplier of the coupon and will not assume any liability relating to the coupon. The supplier of the coupon shall be solely responsible for all issues related to the quality and availability of the relevant product(s) and/or service(s). Any disputes or complaints arising from the coupon should be resolved directly between the customer and the relevant supplier. For the details of how to use the coupon, please refer to the terms and conditions set out on the coupon. The above offer cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged for any other gifts.
  12. Hang Seng reserve the right to suspend, vary or terminate the above offers and amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In case of any disputes, the decision of Hang Seng shall be final.
  13. No person other than the customer, the Primary Users and Hang Seng (which includes its successors and assigns) will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
  14. These terms and conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
  15. These terms and conditions are subject to prevailing regulatory requirements.
  16. The English version of these terms and conditions shall prevail whenever there is any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions.
