Terms and Conditions for Use of e-Valuation of Hang Seng Bank Limited ("Hang Seng")

   
1. Provision of the e-Valuation is subject to these Terms and Conditions and the Important Message to Readers and Internet Privacy Policy Statement (details of which can be accessed by clicking "Important Message to Readers and Internet Privacy Policy Statement" below).
2. Hang Seng has made available on-line e-Valuation service in this web site to facilitate and enhance access to information contained therein by its customers. Hang Seng is the owner of all copyright works and information contained in this e-Valuation web site. Any reproduction, adaptation, distribution, dissemination or making available of such copyright works and information to any third parties is strictly prohibited unless prior written authorization is obtained from Hang Seng. Any amendment or alteration of this e-Valuation web site's source code to facilitate the downloading or copying of the property or valuation data therein is also strictly prohibited.

The e-Valuation shall be valid for one month from the date of the valuation.
4. Notwithstanding Clause 3, the e-Valuation is indicatory and for reference purpose only and is not binding on Hang Seng. Hang Seng reserves the right to re-value the subject property at its full discretion at anytime.
5. Provision of the e-Valuation is subject to the following qualifications:
(i) All information and data in respect of the property as shown in this website are provided based on the property information from property developers or other sources believed by Hang Seng to be reliable but it is not expressly or impliedly represented, warranted or guaranteed by Hang Seng as to its accuracy, timeliness or completeness.
(ii) The e-Valuation is prepared on vacant possession basis or in the event of the subject property being subject to tenancy, the e-Valuation would be prepared accordingly with the assumption that the tenancy is agreed at market levels with reasonable terms/conditions and duration.
(iii) The subject property is free from encumbrances, restrictions and outgoings of an onerous nature which could affect its value; and
(iv) For Home Ownership Scheme/Private Sector Participation Scheme, Flat-For-Sale Scheme, Sandwich Class Housing Scheme and any other housing schemes similar in nature, alienation of flat by individual owner is restricted and, inter alia, subject to payment of premium as may be required. For the purpose of the e-Valuation, it is assumed that the premium payable for removing the alienation restriction has been paid and the subject property is freely disposable in the open market.
6. You expressly acknowledge and agree that it is entirely at your own risks if you rely on the e-Valuation. Hang Seng shall not assume any liability or responsibility for any loss and damage as you may incur or suffer (if any) arising from or in connection with the use of, or the reliance of the e-Valuation.
   

(The English version of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail whenever there is a discrepancy between the English and the Chinese versions.)
