With a non-finance background, I appreciate how the programme has deepened my expertise, sharpened my commercial mindset and built confidence in a fast-paced environment with like-minded colleagues.
Michelle Lai, 2025 cohort / Commercial Banking stream
As an Assistant Vice President on placement in Corporate Banking, my rotations have given me hands-on, client-facing experiences and helped me identify the right path for me. Coming from a non-business background, I value the support from mentors and senior leaders during my transition into banking. Structured training and the capstone project have strengthened my technical and professional skills, expanded my network and enhanced my collaboration skills across teams.
Joshua Tsui, 2025 cohort / Global Markets stream
I really appreciate how strongly the management supports our development throughout the MT programme, investing time and resources to help us grow. We’re encouraged to take on meaningful work, including product reviews and UAT projects and to build AI capability to boost our team's productivity. After joining an AI League competition, I now apply those learnings every day. The programme also sponsors our Certified Banker exams, offers personal development workshops and encourages volunteering to contribute to the community.
Carmen Tsang, 2024 cohort / Retail Banking and Wealth stream
