$10,000 Government’s Cash Payout Scheme

Overview

$10,000 Government’s Cash Payout Scheme has started on 21 June 2020. Register via Personal e-Banking to avoid delays and long queues. It takes only 2 steps to complete the e-registration to receive $10,000 cash handout in approximately 1 week after completing registration, which is sooner than submitting paper form. Register payout via Personal e-Banking

How to register

You can just choose your account for receiving cash handout and a valid contact number with SMS function after logging on to Personal e-Banking. All you need is 2 steps to complete the e-Registration.

Required information

All your available accounts and contact numbers are pre-filled after logging on to Personal e-Banking. You can avoid re-registration due to typos.

Receive payout timeline

  1. For electronic registrations received within the first 10 days (i.e. from 21 June to 30 June 2020), cash handout will be received starting from around 6 July (Monday).
  2. For electronic registrations received on or after 1 July 2020, you will receive cash handout in approximately 1 week after completing registration.

Registration steps

  1. Choose your account for receiving cash handout and provide/select your valid contact number with SMS function
  2. Accept related Terms and Conditions, declaration and confirm information

How to register

Fill in the registration form on Hang Seng Website after the start of $10,000 Government Cash Payout Scheme.

Required information

You only need to fill in your account number, part of your Hong Kong ID card number and valid contact number with SMS function. Please ensure all the information is correct to avoid any delays.

How to register and $10,000 payout arrangement

You can submit the paper form at any Hang Seng branch or MTR station office[1].  You can also ask H A R O on WhatsApp for the 3 nearest branches.

After the first six weeks of the registration period of the Scheme (i.e. on or after 2 August 2020), eligible persons who have not registered during the first six weeks of the registration commencement period, regardless of their year of birth, may register at any time on or before 31 December 2021. Registrants will receive payment about two weeks after successful registration.

Fill in your account number, Full Name, Bank Name, your Hong Kong ID card number and valid contact number with SMS function. Please ensure all the information is correct, to avoid any delays.
