The earliest policy effective date is the day after the enrolment.
The part-time domestic helper insured shall be between the age of 18 to 60.
The policy covers both male and female part-time domestic helper but he/she cannot work more than 20 hours a week and the annual income should not be more than HKD60,000.
It is not necessary to produce any written agreement as proof for applying this plan. However, the written agreement is required for claims application.
To enrol this plan, the proposer is only required to provide his/her personal information and make the following declarations in respect of the part-time domestic helper:
According to the 'Immigration Ordinance', it is an offence if the overseas domestic helper works for an employer other than the one specified in the visa. Therefore, QBE General Insurance (Hong Kong) Limited will not accept an employees' compensation insurance policy proposed by an employer who employs a part-time overseas worker illegally.
