The period of insurance for annual cover is one year. Under annual cover, the maximum cover period for each journey is up to 60 days, while there is no limit on the number of journeys during the covered year. The longest period of insurance for a Single Trip cover is 6 months.
Single trip cover: The age of the insured, spouse, friend or relative must be 18 or above (at the departure date), while the age of the children must be under 18.
Annual global cover: The age of the insured, spouse or parents must be between 18 and 74 (at the policy start date), while the age of the children must be under 18.

No. The Travelsure Protection Plan does not cover injury or death caused by any manual labour work. Therefore, you should approach your other insurer who issued the employee insurance for this maid for extension of the protection to overseas work.
In the event of necessary and unavoidable trip cancellation of booked holidays due to unexpected outbreak of natural disaster (means earthquake, typhoon, landslide, lightning, volcanic eruption, tsunami, hurricane or sandstorm) at the planned destination arising within one week before the departure date of the journey, the Travel Insurance will pay the Insured Person the loss of irrecoverable tour and booked holidays paid in advance or contracted to be paid.
If Hong Kong SAR Government issues a "Travel Alert" for the country / region of planned destination at least one day after the day on which the Policy is issued or the date which the Booked Holidays is billed (whichever is later), Insured Person covered by the insurance can enjoy policy extensions. Yes. The China Medical Card is a facility to enable customers to enjoy more efficient hospital admission at the Designated Hospitals. As long as the condition is covered under the policy, you could still enjoy the insurance protection when admitted to non-designated hospitals. However, please note that the guarantee of hospital admittance deposit in the case for admission to non-designated hospitals is up to HKD20,000 only. Moreover, you have to obtain the original copy of hospital/ medical receipt with the diagnosis certified by the attending doctor and settle the medical expenses first, and file a claim upon returning to Hong Kong.
The China Medical Card is applicable to hospital admission only. If you only visit out-patient clinics, you should follow the general claims procedures: pay the consultation fee, get the receipt and medical certificate, and file a claim upon returning to Hong Kong. The treatment must be provided by the legally registered medical practitioner.
Under the Plan A of the Annual China Cover, if the customer sustains bodily injury caused by an assault during a robbery while traveling in mainland China (excluding Hong Kong SAR) or Macau SAR leading to death or permanent disability, the original HKD200,000 Personal Accident benefit will be doubled to HKD400,000.
