Personal Accident Insurance Plan ("this Plan") is underwritten by Chubb Insurance Hong Kong Limited ("Chubb").

This Plan aims to provide multiple personal accident insurance coverage, including accidental medical and bonesetter benefits as well as up to HKD2,000,000 traffic accident coverage for the insured travelling as a passenger in a Public Common Carrier or in a private car. What's more, this Plan also includes up to HKD500,000 personal liability coverage and up to 15 visits to post-hospitalisation outpatient services.

This Plan offers a 30% no-claims cash refund benefit when no claim is made in 5 consecutive years. With Personal Accident Insurance Plan covering the unexpected accident and associated costs, customers can enjoy life to the fullest without worrying about the burden.

Key features

This Plan covers death or permanent total disablement caused to the insured in the event of travelling as a passenger in a Public Common Carrier or in a private car.

This Plan offers protection in the event of accidents for death or permanent disablement (total or partial) such as loss of sight, loss of speech, loss of a limb, etc.

This Plan provides reimbursement of medical, surgical, hospital, chiropractor and physiotherapy expenses for accidental injury.

This Plan covers the medical expenses of Chinese bone-setting up to HKD1,000 due to accidental injuries.

This Plan protects against the Insured Person becomes legally liable to pay compensation for an Accident which causes bodily injury to any other person or destruction of the property of others.

This Plan provides post hospitalization clinical services including medical follow-up consultation, secondary specialist’s medical advice, physician examination and occupation evaluation or physiotherapy.

Yes, the Insured Person(s) must be aged 18 and under 70 years old, while child(ren) must be between 6 months old and 21 years old or a full-time student and aged 23 years old or below
(At the policy commencement date)

Except for students studying abroad, any students 18 years of age or above and under 70 years of age on the policy effective day, and with Hong Kong as their place of permanent residence can apply for this Plan.

The plan provides a daily 24-hour worldwide coverage for this Plan without any regional and temporal restrictions. However, applicant must be Hong Kong resident(s) permanently living, working or studying in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Application

You can apply for this Plan if you aren't engaged in the following occupations / industries: disciplinary forces or emergency services (disciplinary forces shall include but not be limited to policemen, customs officers, firemen, paramedics, immigration officers / inspectors and correctional service officers / inspectors etc.), active armed services or forces, offshore oil and gas rigs, professional sportspersons, diving and related occupations; ship crews, pilots and aircrew, forestry, logging and saw mills, mining and extraction, fishing / aquaculture, construction workers, railway workers, gondola or scaffolder workers, stunt persons, use of explosives, couriers, two-wheeler delivery.

Yes, housewives or retired persons can apply for this Plan.

The insured isn't allowed to be covered under more than 1 Personal Accident Protection Plan. If the insured is being covered under more than 1 Policy:

  • We'll consider the insured under the Policy which provides the highest amount of benefit; or
  • We'll consider the insured under the Policy which was issued first if the benefit amount is the same.

In any case,  any re-purchased policy will lapse from the policy effective day and we'll refund the premium paid to you (excluding interest).

Managing policy

"Policy Review Period" means the Insured will be entitled to review the policy within 15 days after receipt of the policy. For any reason he / she isn't satisfied, simply return it with a written notice within 15 days after receipt of the policy. The policy will be cancelled and any premium already paid will be refunded if you haven't made a claim.

No, your policy will be automatically renewed until you reach the age of 80.
