A more secure way to verify your identity
We're gradually replacing SMS OTPs with other identity verification methods for registering Personal e-Banking and activating Mobile Security Key. If you used HKID Card to open account and are eligible, simply verify your identity by taking a photo of your HKID Card (issued on or after 26 Nov 2018) and a selfie. Learn more via "Mobile Security Key and Biometric Authentication" > "How it works" section > "Personal e-Banking registration" and "Activate Mobile Security Key" tabs.
