    Yes, it is fixed in each and every month during the repayment period of credit card instalment.

    If your receiving account is not with Hang Seng, you need to provide a copy of the first page of the passbook or the latest monthly statement of that account. If additional documents are required, we will contact you by phone, SMS or email.

    You can submit the relevant supporting document through any of the following channels:

    • Upload via Document Submission
    • Upload via Hang Seng Mobile App: Go to left menu > "Cards" > "Document Submission"
    • Fax to (852) 2269 3096 (Please write your credit card number on the top right corner of the relevant documents)

    1. Upon the application for Cash Instalment Plan is successful, there is a cooling-off period of 7 calendar days from the post date of the first instalment amount.
    2. During the cooling-off period, you may call 24-hour Hang Seng Credit Card Marketing Enquiry Hotline (852) 2998 6899 to request to fully settle the outstanding principal of the Cash Instalment Plan. We have the sole discretion whether or not to approve such request and any subsequent request. If we approve, we will waive a total amount of outstanding monthly handling fee for the remaining Instalment Period and an administration fee of HKD300 (collectively "Prepayment Handling Fee"). In general, you may only make such request once for an approved Cash Instalment Plan.

    Other point(s) to note

    1. If you fail to make full repayment of the statement balance specified in your credit card account statement on or before the payment due date of each month, you shall pay a finance charge and other charges on any monthly instalment amount due but unpaid at the prevailing interest rate applicable to your credit card account from the post date of such monthly instalment.

    2. The monthly handling fee is applicable to selected customers and the approved cash instalment amount has to reach the specific requirement, and is for reference only. The handling fee is to be determined by Hang Seng from time to time for individual promotion. The Annualised Percentage Rates (APRs) are calculated using the Net Present Value Method according to the Code of Banking Practice. The APR for this product ranges from 3.73% to 34.08%. For the APR of 3.73%, it is calculated based on a loan amount of HKD500,000, a monthly flat rate of 0.16% and a 60-month repayment period. The APRs are reference rates which include the basic interest rate and other fees and charges of a product expressed as an annualised rate.
    3. You can log on to Personal e-Banking or call (852) 2998 6868 to check if you are qualified for pre-approved instalment. For details, please refer to Terms & Conditions for Cash Instalment plan.
    4. Specific approved cash instalment amount and repayment period of 24 months or above is required. Enjoy up to HKD12,800 handling fee rebate upon successful application.

    7. (a) Under normal circumstances, you'll receive the approval result instantly for the cash instalment plan. If you submit your application during the following periods, the approved amount will be disbursed into your Hang Seng HKD current or savings account on the same day or by the next calendar day:
      • Mon to Fri: 12:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
      • Sat, Sun, and public holidays: 12:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
      If the approved amount is disbursed into a non-Hang Seng account, it usually takes about 3 working days to process once we've received all the required documents after your application.
      (b) If you submit your application during the following periods, we'll debit the first instalment amount from your Hang Seng credit card account on the next calendar day or within 3 calendar days:
      • Mon to Fri: 12:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
      • Sat, Sun, and public holidays: 12:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
    8. Increase credit limit & Cash Instalment application will be approved instantly at same time, depending on the particular circumstances, customer may need provide document for approval. Please note that it may be simultaneously cancelled and your previous credit limit be restored when the application cannot apply successfully.
    9. You may exercise your cooling-off right for approved Cash Instalment Plan within 7 calendar days following the posting date of the first instalment. For details, please refer to Terms & Conditions for Cash Instalment plan.
