Latest Development Regarding the Proposed Privatisation of Hang Seng Bank
We are writing to update you on the latest development regarding the proposed privatisation of Hang Seng Bank. The proposal and the scheme have received the required level of support from Hang Seng’s shareholders, and the next step is the High Court hearing on 23 January 2026. If all conditions are met, Hang Seng’s shares will withdraw from listing on Hong Kong Stock Exchange at 4pm on 27 January 2026.
