As initiated and sponsored by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), the 6-month Banking Talent Programme is inevitably a meaningful initiative to nurture a sustainable young talents pipeline for the financial industry in Hong Kong. Hang Seng Bank is honoured to join hands with HKMA to offer a 6-month full-time opportunity for 2021 Graduates who have a wide range of valuable exposure to one of the following lines of business or functions:

  • Commercial Banking
  • Financial Control
  • Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited
  • Wealth and Personal Banking

Programme highlight

This programme will equip you with valuable and practical banking knowledge and skills through diverse banking activities, on-the-job training and professional training courses provided by HKMA and HKIB which will put you one step ahead of the rest.

Requirements

  • 2021 Bachelor's Degree Graduates from local or overseas universities
  • Demonstrate a high degree of commitment and drive self to achieve business and personal goals, overcoming obstacles as they arise

Programme overview

As initiated and sponsored by the Hong Kong Government, the 18-month Greater Bay Area Youth Employment Scheme (GBA YES) encourages and supports young talents to pursue their careers across the Greater Bay Area. Hang Seng Bank is honorable to join hands with the Hong Kong Government to offer 18-month full-time opportunities for 2019 - 2021 Graduates with range of regional exposures at Hang Seng Bank’s strategic locations in the Greater Bay Area.

We are currently seeking high-calibre individuals to join us as GBA Associate for our digital / non-digital positions in following line of businesses / functions:

  • Commercial Banking
  • Global Banking
  • Strategic Planning and Corporate Development
  • Wealth and Personal Banking

Individuals in digital positions are required to station in GBA Mainland cities for at least 9 months whereas those in non-digital positions are required to do so for most of the time throughout the programme.

Digital:

  • Participate in digital and Fintech project planning activities, including progress tracking, budget monitoring and quality management
  • Engage with digital team, IT department and external vendors to formulate and implement digital strategies
  • Conduct in-depth research on the latest Fintech and market development trend
  • Prepare project documents, management reports, quality procedures and project plans by adopting the Bank’s project methodologies and agile ways of working

Non-digital:

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to assess project requirements and system / process design, testing and training
  • Prepare project documents, management reports and project plans by adopting the Bank’s policies and procedures
  • Conduct business research and analysis
  • Collaborate with the Bank’s relevant Hong Kong and mainland China teams to implement and track GBA related strategies and initiatives

Requirements

  • 2019 – 2021 graduates with bachelor’s degree or above awarded locally or overseas
  • Hong Kong residents with the right of abode in Hong Kong
