Open accounts via mobile app

You need to fulfil all of the below criteria:

  • Do not hold any Hang Seng Bank accounts, for example:
    • Savings / Current Account (including passbook and statement savings accounts)
    • Integrated Account
    • Credit Card
    • Business Account
    • Joint-named Account
    • Mortgage Account
    • Safe Deposit Box Services
  • Aged 18-64 years old
  • Holding HKID and is a Hong Kong tax resident
  • Residing and currently located in Hong Kong
  • Not a US citizen or tax resident

Open account via Branch

You can make an appointment online in advance before visiting branch to save time. Please bring along the original copy of the documents and information required for opening personal account to any of our branches for account application.

Existing customers

Upgrade account via Hang Seng Personal e-Banking (Desktop version)

If you are holding an Integrated Account, please log on to Personal e-Banking (Desktop version) and select "Account Services" > "Other Related Services" > "Account Opening/Upgrade". Then, upgrade your account, no documents required.

Open account via mobile app

You need to fulfil all of the below criteria:

  • Hold at least one Hang Seng Bank account (including passbook and statement savings accounts)
  • Do not hold any Hang Seng Bank Integrated Accounts
  • Do not hold any standalone investment accounts (including Securities and Investment Fund accounts)
  • Aged 18-64 years old
  • Residing and currently located in Hong Kong
