You can activate your debit card using the following methods after receiving the physical card:

Simply set up your ATM PIN by calling the Debit Card Activation Hotline (852) 2997 3366. If you forget your PIN, visit our branch or call the Customer Service Hotline on the back of the card for assistance.
Whether you use a primary or supplementary debit card, we'll process your transactions in the following ways:

When you make purchases and withdrawals in the 12 supported currencies of the Integrated Account, we'll deduct the amount directly from the corresponding foreign currency account if it has sufficient funds. If the account has insufficient funds, we'll convert the entire transaction amount into HKD at Hang Seng's preferential exchange rate and deduct the amount from your HKD savings account.
Yes. If you use a currency that is not one of the 12 supported currencies of the Integrated Account for purchases or withdrawals, we'll convert the entire transaction amount into HKD based on the Mastercard® exchange rate on that day and deduct the equivalent HKD from your account.
You can withdraw cash at both local and overseas HSBC Group / Mastercard / Cirrus network ATMs. We won't charge handling fees for withdrawals at HSBC Group ATMs, even if the ATM displays a fee notice or lists related fees on the receipt.

Overseas ATMs may allow you to choose between savings / current accounts for cash withdrawals, but we'll deduct and record all overseas cash withdrawals and fees (if applicable) in your savings account, so please ensure you have sufficient balance in your savings account.
The rebate amount will be rounded off to 2 decimal places (for JPY, it'll be rounded to the nearest whole yen). The rebate will be credited to the linked account in the transaction posting currency after the relevant transaction is posted.
No. All debit card transactions (including supplementary cards) will be recorded in the primary card statement of the linked Integrated Account, and marked with "MDC" for identification.
Simply log on to Hang Seng Mobile App > left menu > "Cards" >"My Debit / ATM Cards" > "Debit Card" to check your transaction records.
To cancel recurring payment instructions (such as mobile phone monthly service fees), you may contact the relevant merchant(s) directly to make arrangements.
The primary and supplementary debit cards have an individual preset maximum daily spending limit of HKD100,000 or its equivalent# . If you don't set any limits, the actual spending limit will be the lower of the preset daily limit or your available account balance.
The debit card doesn't have a preset monthly spending limit. You can adjust the daily / monthly spending limit and the monthly "card-not-present" transaction limit according to your needs. These three limits will take effect simultaneously, with the lower limit applying. Please visit Manage Card Limits for details.

Immediately log on to Hang Seng Mobile App > left menu > "Cards" > "My Debit / ATM Cards" > "Debit Card" > "Manage Debit Card" to report the loss or call the 24-hour Report Lost Card Hotline at (852) 2836 0838.
If you find unauthorised transactions, please submit the form to report unauthorised transactions. Your liability for unauthorised use of your Debit Card will be limited to HKD500 for transactions occurring before you contacted us.

This card is eligible for an annual fee waiver.
You can enjoy $0 foreign currency transaction or conversion fees when using the Hang Seng Multi-Currency Debit Mastercard® at any overseas merchant that accepts Mastercard®.
You can continue to use the current debit card, but the cash rebate ratio and related handling fees depend on the specific product type printed on your card. If you want to change the debit card due to a change in your account type, please contact us for a replacement.

The value of your foreign currencies and RMB deposits are subject to exchange rate risk and may result in gains or losses when the exchange rate fluctuates at the time when the transaction amount is debited from your foreign currency or RMB account. It may also result in losses when your foreign currency or RMB account balance is insufficient to pay the transaction amount and need to convert HKD to foreign currency or RMB.
